Invocation perks still need some buffs

  1. Weaving Spiders is an ok perk, but most of the time it still feels detrimental. Giving up at least 60 seconds of your time and being injured for the rest of the match is usually not worth it. It's decent against 3 gen scenarios, but at that point using BNP and Deja Vu will get you a better result anyway (not to mention you can't overextend when you're permanently injured)
  2. Treacherous Crows is even worse. It won't help you in a chase, because you always run to a place with crows before the killer which means you don't get the benefit. Outside of a chase it's kinda nice, but most of the time you still have a general idea of where the killer is and it doesn't do anything against stealth killers
  3. Both of these perks could actually have some decent value if you could use them together, but you can't. You need 2 minutes to activate both perks which is the equivalent of repairing more than 1 generator!

These are my suggestions for these perks. You can choose one or a couple of them:
A) Make it possible to activate both perks during the same action
B) Decrease the invocation time for Treacherous Crows from 60 to 40 seconds
C) Make it so that after you complete an invocation, your next invocation will only take half the time
D) Decrease the duration of the Broken status effect from permanent to 180 seconds
E) Add another effect for Weaving Spiders, i.e. all regression events are 10% weaker (Pain res 20% → 18% etc)

On one hand I agree that Invocation mechanic needs buffs… but on other hand I think whole mechanic is stillborn and its design is flopped.
I don't think there is anything in between, it always will be not desirable choose or it will be completely broken and unfair as old CoH.
But I suppose that devs will change it like they did with many other perks: make it still not so good for solo players and completely broken for SWF. And this will be "in-between" state, again. So I kinda glad they don't touch it for now.

All the time when I see someone use this perk, Im watching our team die while one fool going into the basement for 2min.
This is the biggest flaw with the whole mechanic, you hurt your team way more than the benefit of the perk in most games.

Its boring to sit still for 1min and being broken is like the worst too. I would never willingly use these perks in the current state.

The issue is they can't buff it anymore, or else it will become too strong, but as is they are really risky niche perks. I think most of Taurie's perks are in the same boat actually.

And I think this is totally fine to do, actually. It's fine for the strong perks to be niche, if they're not then they create overly strong metas.

I think that they shouldn't have the same exact drawback for all of them. WS should have Exposed, and TC should have Oblivious and maybe Blindness outside of the perk's effects.

And one other thing, some of the dumb conditions should be removed (random gen block negating Weaving Spiders is a pain)
