Is Pop Goes the Weasel applied after or before the normal generator kick regression?

Pop goes a weasel, if active, causes a generator to lose 20% of it's *current* progress when performing the damage action on a generator.

The damage action itself however causes the generator to lose 5% of it's *total* progress.

This means the order these are applied in matter.

Let's look at the possible scenarios. Let's say there is a generator at 95% total progress.

#1: The damage action removes 5% total from the generator, bringing it to 90%. Then pop removes 20% of that (18% total) for a total regression down to 72% progress total.

#2: Pop goes the weasel is applied first removing 20% of the current changes (19% total) bringing the generator down to 76% total. Then the damage action removes 5% of the total charges, bringing the generator down to 71%.

So which one is applied first?

The 5% of total is applied first, then it's 20% of what's left after that. So a generator at 95% progress would go down to 90% and then 72%.

This was clarified back in the 6.1.0 patch notes back when Pop was changed to use current progress.
