Chemical Trap Doesn't Apply to Same Pallet

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: Whenever I attempt to place a chemical trap on a pallet which was previously chem trapped, the prompt to place a chemical does not appear and the action cannot be done. This only seems to happen on chem trapped pallets that were NOT kicked/destroyed.
PLATFORM: PC, Steam
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED: Drop pallet. Place chemical trap on the pallet. Allow the chemical trap to dissipate. Fill chemical trap perk to full. Attempt to place a new chemical trap on a previously chem trapped pallet, and action does not work. Does not seem to be pallet spawn or map dependent.
