killer repeat prevention system?
since they started maybe testing and adding a map repition so you dont magically keep getting the same one map
maybe we can consider a possible killer repition system that prevents survivors from playing against the same killers?, this would certianly help boost the more unpopular killers that dont get used alot while also giving survivors more fresh air in their matches…rather then face the top 10 killers you almost see on a daily
( Stats | April 2024 - BHVR ) these are the last known stats that have been posted by behavior that includes the killers pickrate, even without the unknown, those killers have a 41% total pickrate and thats just the top 9
and for myself personally i would love to stop getting a huntress match every 2 matches or so. and alot of people might have similar opinions of disliking a wraith, billy or doctor and not wanting to see them so commonly (if those stats are still close to what they are today)
just as a refrence, as of writing this, we have 38 killers comming to dbd, 40 when we get to fnaf/summer with the march liecense killer chapter
even if you dont hate any killer or actually love the top 10 listed there, it will get boring seeing the same killers over and over again. just like eating your favorite meal or watching your favorite show.
i do hope that after you faced against a killer, they wont be possible to be fought against for the next 5 matches.
because after that you probably should be over it unless you are addicted, this would massively help the casual playerbase get the feel against every possible killer and not feel saturated fighting huntress or wraith consistently
edit : TL:DR can this sort of this be possibly considered or be even tested?

Killers queue up as a killer they want to play as. They can't change once in a lobby. The problem that would quickly occur is that matchmaking queue times would explode.

Map repetition prevention is fine, since people don't pay for and queue up to play as a map. People do, however, queue up to play as specific killers. If you want people to play as more killers, you make the other killers stronger and more fun, and perhaps throw an incentive in the form of extra bloodpoints and shards to play as the least played killers.

Yes please, few weeks ago I played against OP Chucky (pre nerfed) 5 times in a row, we really need that, make it so that we can face same killer max 2 times

the system would already be an incentive to make people play less popular killers
plus adding a bp bonus to anything killer does would just make the killer queue times even longer for everyone involved
thats why the bp bonus in the loppy is mostly survivor. (atleast in my region n mmr)0 -
The reason why the BP bonus tends to be on survivor is because 80% of the players in a lobby need to be survivors for the game to start. BVHR isn't trying to make survivor the most appealing role making it so no one really wants to play killer so their focus is trying to make both roles equally enjoyable so people who want to chase after BP bonus won't care which side the bonus is on.

That's not an incentive. That's a punishment. If you told me that playing a killer I wanted to play meant I had a long queue and my only choice was to play weak killers I don't want to play with no bonus for doing so, I just wouldn't play. Why would I?

The only way to incentivize playing weaker or less popular Killers is if those Killers get buffs or changes that make them fun and useful. But Survivors do not like that, and get upset when either happens, so either way someone will be upset.
