Dbd Still needs so much work.
I was going through my head which I can't even begin to cover it all but……
This game still needs so many killers either adjusted, balanced, or reworked entirely.
Maps need updates and reworks desperately.
All Perks on both sides really need a comb through. Most need to be buffed.
Graphics need to be updated.
In game general bugs still need to be ironed out.
Houndmaster's still needs attention. The dog is still buggy, snug gets stuck, still pulls survivors away from me, decides not to search, the search detection zone is still too small. I will ask snug to vault, and he doesn't. Of course, when I don't ask him to vault at times, he does…
Plague is a weird hot mess with her bugs.
Certain models of survivors really need to be updated in their graphics
The solo queue experience still needs a lot of work. Survivors should know which perks are activated for certain situations.
There's just so much that needs to be done and while I am all for the new content that keeps coming, it's just getting harder and harder to keep up with all of this stuff. To be honest - that's the issue, it's falling behind and some of it just gets swept under the table especially if it doesn't have an initial $ on it. Such as Freddy's Rework. I presume that's why it took so long to finally get changes such as these that we have on the PTB right now and sadly, they are changes that our main Freddy Player GeneralV its extremely disappointed in.
I can NOT imagine waiting 6 years for your beloved Killer you admire to be reworked only to be so saddened by the changes…you lose hope. I truly feel for him.
Please BHVR - SLOW DOWN.

AGREE!!!!
Slow down the chapter release schedule to 3 per year, one every 4 months. We have enough stuff in the game already.
And then BHVR can spend the time this frees up fixing the game.

All very true, but the money is in new content, not so much in fixing old content.
So I don't think anyone should hold their breath waiting for DBD to be "fixed".
But to be totally fair, I think what people mean by "fixed" varies greatly, especially when it comes to balancing. This game is simply too all over the place for everyone (or even most people) to be wholly satisfied with it.

True, but money can also come in from gaining new players. Not those who will come and then leave, the new chapters/events do that, but keeping them here. And this can only be achieved by making the game more enjoyable, a.k.a focusing on quality over quantity.

I love this game truly, but I am exhausted. They just need to slow down with all this stuff. Focus on what we have. I never thought I would ever complain about too much content but jeesh. lol

So long as they have a monopoly on the genre, they won't address most of this. Sad but true.
They know they can get away with putting out an incessant stream of buggy and/or lacklustre content because even if players get upset, what are they going to do? Play a different horror asym? Not likely considering the rest of them are dead/dying.
The unfortunate reality is that if you want to play a horror asym, DbD is almost certainly your most (or only) viable option and that's why the devs aren't too worried about improving the things you've listed. The devs can continue to give us broken content like Houndmaster and the playerbase will stay, because there aren't any other good asymms out there to switch over to.

Absolutely, but it's fairly obvious that they aren't thinking long term, building the barriers to new players higher and higher. It's all about hawking the new shiny toy and ignoring that the game is starting to look like a metaphorical horader's house.
And really, that's kind of emblematic of the current state of business generally; everyone seems concerned with the next quarter or year's outlook/profits and not the long term.

People keep calling for reworks to their favorite killers while ignoring past reworks.

An issue that has plagued this killer for as long as I can remember and STILL hasn’t been fixed properly. Sigh…no pun intended.

This game has a lot of stuff to iron out especially with old content however slowly they are improving it. Small things like Bubba getting purple chili basekit ,healing perks getting buffed, long cooldown perks getting buffs ( TOT, oppression, dragons grip, machine learning,). Perks like leverage and thwack went from useless to pretty good. I am looking forward to see what improvements and buffs they have for 2025

Yup been saying this for awhile but it be nice to stop with a new killer which feels like its every 3 months and fix the major issues of the game. Survivor/Killer bugs. Example yunjins eye brows how they shift oddly in game lobby, clown walding his feet like a duck when aiming bottles etc. Killers who are now copy and pasted from previous one seem to be a thing example xenomoprh being huntress and demo 2.0. Perks for both sides need a look at example calm spirit and harden.
Calm spirit edge is that it already is active and also counters spies but that 30% bless and cleanse is stupid. Harden is superior to calm spirit cause wall hacks specially vs doctor for anything that lets you scream instead proc aura of killer. It requirement of searching a chest and cleanse a totem however is a time waster and does not block spies or birds like cam spirit does.
Shaking thunder seem promising but you got to fall off high places while coup de grace grows stronger as more gen pops and is more accessible that way. I can go on but am sure those two examples are enough. 2.0 perks is getting out of hand.
