Some Quality of Life Suggestions

  • Remove Perk Tiers
    • Perk tiers are an unnecessary waste of blood points. Removing them would significantly improve progression, making it easier for players to unlock perks without needing to prestige every character to level 3. Additionally, as more characters are added, it becomes increasingly difficult for new players to unlock all perks efficiently.
  • Remove the Struggle Mechanic
    • The struggle phase serves no real purpose other than giving players an easy way to quit without penalty. It’s frustrating and repetitive. A better alternative would be to replace it with an interactive mechanic that keeps survivors engaged without encouraging early game abandonment.
  • Implement a Recycling System for Items
    • Introduce a feature that allows players to recycle lower-tier items (brown, yellow, green, purple, and pink) into higher-tier ones based on specific requirements. This would improve inventory management and give players more control over their resources.
  • Introduce New Looping Mechanics
    • Adding dynamic looping mechanics could enhance chases and create more engaging interactions. For example, certain maps could include environmental objects like a pot of glue, which survivors can knock over when passing by. If a killer steps on it, they get temporarily slowed down. This type of mechanic would be a one-time-use, temporary effect to maintain game balance.
  • Survivor Communication Wheel
    • Introduce a communication wheel that allows survivors to send quick, non-verbal signals. However, to maintain balance and realism, these messages should only be visible to nearby teammates rather than the entire survivor team.
