Freddy Has A HUGE Problem (Well 2)
- When a survivor is downed they get woken up. If this survivor then wiggles free due to sabo/flashlight save this survivor is then at a full new 60 second timer. Freddy then has to spend the next AT LEAST two snares putting them to sleep again to even use his power.
When a survivor is hooked is the only time they should wake up for free like that because if they get saved at all it is 10x more set back for Freddy than it is with other killers. At least with Singularity he can then TP to the blob on their back to catch up after and Singularity is an actual strong killer. Freddy doesn't need this unneeded downside. - Old dream pallets were not able to be seen by awake survivors, hence were not able to be thrown by awake survivors. This meant that about 50% of the time the dream pallets were up were because the sleeping survivors didn't know they were fake, or everyone else was awake and couldn't see them. The issue now with the awake survivors seeing them is that they NEVER stay up now. The pallets are constantly being throwing without punishment and have almost no up time before they are.
I don't want like a health state punishment, but I think throwing a dream pallet yourself should add 30seconds to the sleep timer. Half of the amount of sleep time you get for getting hit by a rupture. This would make it so you can still throw the pallets while asleep at no punishment, but you are at least putting yourself asleep faster if you go around throwing the dream pallets.

The reason for them waking up when downed is that Freddy can tp to asleep people that are healing or being healed. It is a way of avoiding a teleport to a dying survivor.
The dream pallets, on the other hand, I think do have an issue. First, I don't think they should stun Freddy, specially with how obvious they are from up close. Then I do believe that 30-second per iteration with them is not enough punishment. If you are going to make the dream pallets obvious, then severely punish not avoiding them. I think making the addon that makes you see auras of survivors that interact with them and alliws you to teleport to them should be basekit. That way you get value out of the pallets and they will think twice before interacting with them.

Just make it so that he can't TP to them if they're being healed from the dying state.
Very obvious fix. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to think of that one.
Survivors waking up after getting downed is stupid because: 1. If they wiggle out, get flashlight saved, DS you, etc, you now have to waste time putting them back to sleep. And 2. Black Box (his Iridescent add-on) is literally unusable right now because of it.

I think a fix to my comment, to prevent slugging is simple.
After the survivor is picked up/wiggles free from flash save/sabo, they instantly get put back to sleep. That way freddy can still use his power and it's not being punished for a game mechanic outside of his control.
While they are on the ground however, they remain awake.0 -
Yeah when they get downed they just wake up and crawl out the gate xD, the add on is a literal joke

maybe don't punish killer for doing their job.
I am out of the loop. what is wrong killer teleporting back to hooks or teleporting to slug? Is this some kind of new survivor rule i am aware of?
