Add option to ping location or objective as in Outlast Trials

Hi,

In Outlast Trials there is a function in which you can mark objectives by using middle click:

You can mark killers, locations and objectives that way for other players to see.

I think it would be good addition to DBD as in SWF I can just tell "totem is in shack", "killer goes to main building", "there's gen in saloon", but SoloQ don't have that option.

I don't think it would be ground-breaking to allow survivors to mark generators, totems and chests.

Killers - if at all (but also why not?) - could be time-based maybe?

I mean if someone spots the killer would it be bad if they could mark it for 5-10 seconds, as same information could be said via Discord in SWF?

    Marking killer would be too much as it could assist even the survivor current looping the killer in chase. You'd be able to essentially have wall hacks.

    Besides that, currently there IS a sort of ping addon. With the rework towards keys and maps around the corner, it wouldn't surprise me if they included something like that to those items base mechanics.

    A ping system in DBD would work wonders for solo queue, I believe at least. It would be very nice to have.

    Also, regarding the issue of having wall hacks against killers if you could ping the killers position, it should simply ping the position of the killer at the time you are using the ping, not showing the killers aura, and then have a 5 second cooldown on that ping or what not. Then you couldn't use it to gain wallhacks on the killer.
