Dead by Daylight feels miserable to play right now?

Member Posts: 1

Honestly, I totally understand both sides as a survivor player. Bully SWFs can feel very oppressing to killers, but at the same time really good killers can make survivors feel helpless.

I’m sure it’s very hard to balance and create a middle ground in a game like this, I know the devs are trying.

Maybe you guys could help me figure out some ways to make the game a bit more fun/tolerable. Some new builds to help me play a little better perhaps? Or just some overall good advice to help cope when games are bad.

Again, I’m absolutely not blaming anyone in this situation for how the game feels right now. Also, it’s totally valid if you don’t feel this way about the game’s current state! I just personally don’t feel good about the game’s state right now and wanna hear some advice from you guys on how to tolerate the game a little more since DBD is and has been my favorite game for a long time. Thanks for reading! :)

I let it get to me too much sometimes too when things aren't going well consistently.

Set yourself different goals for matches like doing rift challenges or self imposed rather than being disappointed about not getting kills or escaping.

If that doesn't work then take a little break and come back again to see if you feel differently.

You match my energy so well! :D

But besides that I think you should run like more fun builds and not go for things like meta wise like Chemical trap a frequently used perk I like to use for fun and maybe like joke builds with no mither and unbreakable and plot twist etc making it fun and not making the goal to just win

if you play killer maybe try a build a where it just repeats a status effect over and over again without actually trying to prevent gens just making it funny I don't know what else I can say to use because I don't know much about perks as of now but I hope you find something that can make the game more tolerable for you
see you in the fog, :D
