Can we please decrease sadako’s terror and lullaby radius as well to 18 meters
And while we are at it, please decrease the threshold for full invisibility to 18 meters as well. All of them are currently 24 meters.

DEV NOTE: We’ve adjusted several Killer Terror Radiuses to better fit with their intended playstyles. Killers with high mobility that can zip across the map at high speeds have had their radiuses increased to give Survivors a greater chance to react to their approach.
We’ve also reduced the radiuses for stealthy Killers to better fit their playstyles. The Skull Merchant is a slight outlier here. While she can gain Undetectable by deploying a drone, we felt she could still benefit from added stealth support.

Well then they better give us back the ability to stun her in demanifest state. That was so not needed to be added and yes I get wraith is still stronger than her but you still can clap him with pallets in cloak state.

Why would you nerf that aspect of her?
The only thing that needs to be nerfed is her noob stomper potential. Everything else is too weak.

Yes she got a directional lullaby, removing that would be great, but I don’t see this happening. Is there anything else you would change?

Well, her add-ons suck and her counterplay is too easy, but other than that, she's fine.

Mandy once said they don't wanna do this because it messes with players when killers have too many different Terrior radius ranges - their new goal seems like have 40m for high mobility killers, 32m as standard, and 28m for stealthy killers.
One solution could be that survivors suffer from the oblivous status effect when they hold a tape and no longer hear her lullaby after a while when keep holding tape. This would be also a decent buff to tapes which are really free to hold.

You can hit wraith because HE IS STRONGER and he gets anti-loop when uncloaking. Not to mention all his equivalent addons are actually useful unlike Sadako's that have to do with cloak/deman. Sadako got the stun removal because pre-dropping was way too strong against her and they needed to nerf it alittle bit which is exactly what the lack of stun does.

There are no killers with a 28 meter terror radius as far as I know. You probably mean 24 meters.
Reducing her terror radius wouldn’t change much according to your argument, because she approaches survivors while being demanifest (where she has no terrror radius). I’m more speculating on when you reduce the terror radius, the threshold for full invisibility and her lullaby radius gets reduced as well. Having the threshold for full invisibility reduced, would finally make it useful, especially with the Clumb of hair addon and the reduced lullaby would make survivors prerun later.

Yeah that fact that you CANNOT see her at 24 meters WHILE manifested but if you are actually in POWER demanifested the range is still the same! Please adjust - thank you so much. Clump of hair should be base kit since she is demanifested anyways.

There are ways to buff sadako that increase her skill expression and getting closer to survs before they can know you're there just because you asked for it is not one of them

And what would you do?
My intention is not specifically to get that exact buff. I want to bring attention to Sadako, so the devs might do something at least. As the devs just announced they will reduce other killer terror radiuses, it was the right time to ask for this and it doesn’t matter whether or not it is a super skillful buff.

That decreases her skill ceiling by a lot. Not being able to remove condemned, that is applied so easily, would make her far too strong.

He could probably get his old terror radius back. The only reason his terror radius was increased, was his one addon. They could just change that one if it’s still a problem or leave it as is if it’s fine.

how does it decrease her skill ceiling? and it's not applied so easily since you have to know where survivors are, except for being able to do it mid chase which should be patched similarly to how it was with passive condemned in her first iteration

It’s not hard to tp to the right places. But what you suggest only further buffs the problematic parts of her.
Which is: She is a huge noob stomper.
Your suggestion makes her only stronger against the less experienced players! That is already a huge problem with her. Everyone who understands her will almost never get affected by it and the others will just die even more against her.
This horrible philosophy lead to her being a punching bag for good survivors.
I want buffs that help me against good players and don’t do nothing for me. Even when my MMR drops I don’t enjoy distroying people, who have no clue what’s going on.
Passive condemned was great and it should be reintroduced. It was a huge mistake to remove it.

I agree, but not entirely. Originally, Sadako had an add-on called Clump of Hair, which reduced the range of full invisibility by 6 meters (24-6 = 18). I agree with adjusting the full invisibility range to 18 meters. However, the range of Clump of Hair may need to be reduced because if it stays the same (18-6 = 12), I think that might be too close for Survivors to respond effectively. (Though Sadako does have an SFX while using Demanifested, I think the main Survivor players may not notice it. It might be necessary to either increase the volume of this SFX or reduce the add-on’s ability from 6 meters to 4 meters, making it 18-4 = 14). I think 14 meters could be enough for Survivors to respond in my opinion.

Why do you say originally she had an addon called Clumb of hair? It is still the exact same as it always was.

I don’t think being invisible outside of an 12 meter range would be unfair, but scary and cool. It would make this addon quite strong I think. As of right now this addon is absolutely useless, because it doesn’t do enough to chose it over any other addon.
I don’t think giving survivors more audio clues than they already have is necessary, because (if I’m not wrong) most loops should be a lot bigger than 12 meters. When you are looping or in chase it will probably not come into play very often.
It would be helpful to know how much exactly 12 meters are in dbd?
The best thing would probably be to test 12 meters in the PTB and if it’s too little then make the addon 4 meters, so she is invisible outside of a 14 meter range.

Nope. Anything past 24 meters you dont see her at all. Manifested or Demanifested. However, if she is in power, that invisibility range should be lowered for (Hence Clump Of Hair Addon being basekit). To be at the same range while not in power as it is in power just doesn't make sense.

I agree with the idea of coolness and fear. Honestly, I’d even prefer if Michael Myers didn’t have a terror radius by default. Because, in the movies, Myers is a stalker who silently and creepily follows his victims. But when it comes to the game, this could be too powerful. If Myers had no terror radius, it would require adding-ons that let him see the survivors’ auras or would need a rework. As for Sadako, it’s quite similar. I agree with some parts that she’s the only killer in the game that comes closest to a "ghost." Her appearance should be really terrifying, but when you look at it from a gameplay perspective (not the movie perspective), there are a lot of factors that should prevent her from being too overpowered. This could create too much of a disadvantage for the survivors. I’m reminded of the old Furin add-on for The Spirit before it was reworked. While Phase-Walking, survivors couldn’t hear anything, which made it an overpowered add-on at the time. Survivors couldn’t respond or counter it. If Sadako was like that, I fear it wouldn’t be good for the overall balance of the game. However, now that we have the PTB server, the ideas you’ve suggested are quite interesting. But whether it will positively affect the overall game, that’s something we’d need to test out.

Thanks for the clarification, I always thought it is only when demanifested.
I don’t think it should have different values depending on the mainfest and demanifested state. 24 meters is pretty big and on indoor maps this part of her ability will almost never come in action.
I would rather have it lowered in both states, so this part of her ability is not like nonexistent. The Clumb of hair addon should (after I know this now) also work for when she is manifested. It doesn’t make sense to me to limit a bad addon that much.

So thanks to @UndeddJester I have pictures now.
I used the Ormond main building for measuring.
Her basekit invisibility is far too huge to have an impact with 24 meters. It is barely noticeable.
Then we get to 18 meters, which is still very big, but a lot nearer and better.
He used Myers, because he has an addon, that decreases his terror radius to 12 meters. That would be my suggestion with Clump of hair and the basekit at 18 meters (18-6=12).
So in comparison: The red line would be the 12 meters and yellow the 18m. Myers is the zero point.

My conclusion:
12 meters could work. It is still a a lot of distance at which survivors can see the killer. The only thing survivors would have it harder with, would be locating Sadako as she approaches, but you will see her at loops as you would currently. The only time you could be unable to see her while looping, is when you have a lot of distance on her. Then you would probably not exactly know whether or not she is still following you.

Myers with an 0 m terror radius would be cool, but in tier 3 he would need to keep his terror radius. Otherwise it would be quite frustrating to get instadowned out of nowhere.
