Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Can I get banned for helping a survivor get an achievement?

I was playing Vecna and I saw one of the survivors managed to get the hand of Vecna, I wanted to let them escape so they can get the achievement but I killed the others while ignoring the one with the hand, I didnt realize more people can escape while still getting the achievement.

Honestly I think it mainly depends on how many people have a problem with it, because naturally if they have problems with it, you'll get reported. But most of the time you're not gonna have a problem with it due to the unspoken rule that some of the community follows "killing 3 out of 4 is considered a win." So all in all you're probably fine. Besides even if you do get into trouble, I doubt you would get a permanent ban

Nobody cares what you do in your game mate. Don't worry.

Unless it's cheats or other illegal tools - do whatever you want. Let survivor blind you 4 times in a row, sabotage a hook while you are holding someone or other tricky quests, you won't get punished for that. Can't say your end game score will be high and BP rewards might be low but who cares about those at that point.

it’s only a bannable offenes if you actually Team up with a survivor against another survivor. Which can only result in a ban if it’s been recorded and correctly reported - and the recording has to be very explicit..

So as Long as the one that escaped didnt rat out their teammates and you actually just ignored them you are good to go
