When choosing a map in custom games, you are able to see and choose the removed map variants (they weren't there yesterday)

While map variants have been removed from the main 1v4 queue, they are available in Custom Games so players can continue to play on them if they so choose.

    They are probably in the process of being removed.

    Guess it takes a while.

    As of this week's 8.6.0 update, we updated the map pool to remove map variants from the main 1v4 queue.

    But as you noticed, yes, map variants were re-added to Custom Games after we encountered a minor bug. Our intention with this decision is to preserve these variants within Custom Games so players can continue to play on them if they so choose.

    For that reason, I'll be updating this ticket to "not a bug".
