Deathslinger Randomly Fails to Spear Survivors
SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: When shooting The Redeemer at a survivor, sometimes the survivor performs an animation and makes noise indicating that you hit them, but does not become speared. These no-reg shots appear to be happening regardless of my ping, can occur even in bot matches, and seem to have begun happening when The Ghoul was added. I have heard some similar complaints on the internet (also coinciding with the release of patch 8.6.0) but did not see a matching report.

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED: On the day of The Ghoul's release, having never had such issues before, I started a custom game against bots to test the new perks on the new map (and avoid the queue times). While attempting to spear a Claudette bot near a corner I hit her, causing her to make noise and perform an animation as mentioned previously, but did not spear her successfully somehow. Since then these no-reg hits have been occurring frequently, sometimes as often as four times in a single match. The only consistent factor I have managed to identify is that it appears to happen more frequently near obstacles than in the open.
