The Ghoul Guide to Help Counter

Ok I wanted to Create a guide for this Killer to help not only help Survivors counter him but also help Ghoul mains play better with him. While playing the Ghoul I've Encountered some Stuff that Screwed me over every time I play him. Note I will make a Killer Guide for this Killer

I want to make this as a Tips and Tricks to Counter Him as Survivor type Guide

  1. (learn His Power and use it against him because he's Power is all about as being Agressive and I mean very Agressive. And every Agressive Killer Like Wesker can Be Baited into doing things Like Vaulting Pallets and Windows to make him waste his Ability.)
  2. (You can use him grabbing you Against him. There are some moments that Screwed me over as the Ghoul that the Survivor was at a Pallet and when I grabbed them they Just threw the Pallet on me afterwards to extend the Stun. You can do it when he Mark's you as well just Keep in mind to wait until his animation is done before throwing the Pallet on him to extend the stun to give urself enough time to get to the next Window or Pallet. Just pay Attention and hear if he is going to leap when not at a pallet or window to know what's he's gonna do next or at less have a Heads up on what he's Doing. He's Loud for a Reason)
  3. (Team up. Unlike the Legioned who Can Be Deadly with Groups of survivors he can struggle against Groups. So try to stick together or at least be in Pairs of 2. Like if He's after someone try to stick with them to save or help them when needed)
  4. (The Greatest thing to do is to Just Practice Looping him if ur A Solo survivor main to help in case you are alone to at least help hold ur own)
  5. (Stay out of View when Being Chased and Count how mainly Leaps he used to know how many he has which in Normal he has only 2 and 3 When in Enraged Mode. The only that is Different when Enraged is that he has a 3rd Leap and he Vaults Faster when he grabs a survivor and has a shorter Cool Down on his Leaps)

I know that's alot to Take in just Breath and practice and soon you will be Looping Ghoul like a Pro in no time. If you have any Tips you may add them here to help others you may 🤗

    1. not really same as Wesker, when Ghoul himself choose exactly where he is going to leap. It's not just direction
    2. sounds more like missplay from Ghoul, if he used leap while survivor is under pallet and didn't drop yet
More like never drop pallet, if he used a leap to get there, you can easily react to him canceling his power (tentacles diseapear). It doesn't really work, if he just pulled his power tho.
    3. doesn't matter if you are both injured, otherwise it's just another free injury… Very annoying fact is his bite does not count as protection hit.
    4. kinda generic, doesn't really help understand what are you supposed to do against him
Thing is you usually can't use windows → Bamboozle/purple addon are very popular on him.
      You can't hold W
You can't drop safe pallets and even unsafe pallets with his vault are often 50/50
You can't even double back when he leaps, because he can simply cancel his momentum after leap for some reason.
    5. Way less usefull compare to other killers like Nurse, Huntress etc. when he can slide just around obstacles

There is still an argument going on if it is better to stay injured, or heal. I usually have better results using Resi, never heal and just try to gen rush as much as possible against him.
Stacking healing perks is definetly valid, but healing without any perks is simply waste of time and is going to lose you games.

What currently works also well, if he vaults a pallet, while you were not directly next to the pallet, you can vault back even from side and won't get injured. You can do it quite reliably.
But if you just dropped pallet, or was standing too close, you need to run as far as possible asap, because if you are anywhere close to him (both sides and front), you will get automatically downed/injured.
