Xenomorph still feels AWFUL to play

It's been two months since Xeno's tail windup nerf; and after many many games since the changes, I can say with absolute confidence that the killer is in the worst state it has ever been in.

Playing xeno at a higher MMR is an absolute misery. Any decent survivor will dodge a huge amount of the attacks you make, and there's quite literally nothing you can do about it. They have ten working days to react to your loud, slow wind-up.

Not to mention the turrets spawning constantly for the entire length of the trial, and being 100% uncounterable if placed close together. Xeno is the ONLY killer who has to destroy survivor-placed items or lose power. While destroying them, you lose a good chunk of distance on the survivors you've just found or are chasing. You'd think with the turrets being so readily available, and completely uncounterable in some situations, that the Xeno's ONLY attack would be an incredibly strong insta-down ability. Instead it's:

  • The SHORTEST ranged attack in the game @4.8m (shorter than Nemesis T1)
  • CANNOT be wound up and held to zone, like every single other ranged killer in the roster
  • Significantly loud and easy to hear from the survivor perspective
  • Xeno is a short character so can't hit over some of the same objects that taller killers like Huntress, Nemesis and Slinger can.

I've really tried to adjust to this change in the past couple months, but simply do not enjoy my main any more. Every round is just BBQ bully simulator, which breaks my heart as I used to log on almost every day just to play this killer that I found so much fun in.

Also wanted to note that there's a bug where survivors have I-Frames while placing turrets, meaning you whiff, then lose power while you're on 'missed hit' cooldown. This has been in the game since the killer launched, in 2023!!

BHVR, PLEASE stop balancing your game around new players. Those of us who have played for thousands upon thousands of hours deserve to have fun too.

    I also feel the same, it just feels like she doesnt even have a power most of the time, since there are no limits to how many turrets survivors can place.

    U literally cannot do a damn thing in chases, u cant tank the turrets, u are forced to hit the turret everytime which means the Survivor gains distance and once thats done they are just gonna go to the next pair of turrets, or u just get thrown out of ur power cause there are 2 turrets.

    And i also hate how the tail attack locks the camera in place, the weird thing is tho that sometimes i feel like it doesnt, so its pretty inconsistent for me anyways.
