Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

FNAF Springtrap- way too OP

The new FNAF killer is WAY too OP. Loads of killer benefits (to name a few):

Unnoticeable for a whole TWENTY SECONDS when entering the security camera doors
No cooldown to throw axe once resummoned
Axe hitbox too big
Regularly able to grab survivors midway through window or pallet vaults
Apparently as fast as Huntress but seems faster?

Survivors using the security cameras can't be considered a benefit since the risk of getting caught and instantly picked up is so high! Really not finding this killer fun at all.

    Agree he is too strong.

Apparently as fast as Huntress but seems faster?

He is faster than huntress. As soon as he doesn’t carry a axe he moves at 4.6ms

20 seconds is indeed way too extensive. 10 seconds would be enough as he should not able to walk half a map without terror radius when its main point is to just let him get close to the survivors after exiting a door now its like he can chose any door in the map and still get next to gen survivors are fixing by walking from that door. When it should be only valuable if he manages to get to the two closest doors to the gen not the one from half a map away.

"Hitbox too big" bro you can touch them sometimes with the axe and don't hit them, also you throw into everything it feels like, even throwing besides a tree hits it xD

1 - Yes, he has undetectable for a long time, but he makes a lot of noise while walking, more noise than the Nemesis, so it's quite easy to hear him coming.

2 - That's not true, his cooldown after throwing the axe is higher than Huntress's, actually.

3 - Huntress's hatchet hitbox is also much bigger.

He is B tier killer. Learn to play against him.

This is completely overblown. He's really really bad compared to the other killers.

I feel like he isn’t even that good. May just be a bit of frustration. Compared to Ghoul on release he’s garbage.

Gee what a surprise, new killer and survs complain about him instead of learning his mechanics

Its kind of a stealth/short ranged killer, i see no reason to remove their stealth entirely when u can just have someone mark him on a camera for the whole team to be seen

He's what xenomorph would be if the flame turrets never existeed, except, a better version of xeno anyways

He's b tier at the least & a at the most, just learn how to go against him & you'll see that he isn't as op as you claim

Entirely way too overpowered and not fun to play against at all with the new hook system. Survivors can’t even leave a game when they want anymore without being penalized by either a lock out timer or being forced to be bullied by overpowered killers. Not happy with the direction this game is heading.

To be fair, I had much more pleasant experience with Xeno than him, even after the so-called tail ''nerf/fix''. This guy isn't even a jack-of-all-trades. He is essentially the combination of demi-gorgon and huntress, yet severely inferior to both of them for some weird reasons.

Springtrap himself feels actually pretty weak. The only thing that shines for him is that everyone keeps running the two haste add ons along with some decent slowdown or tunnel, which is understandable.

Now is the thing that people lost against low-tier killers before because people were too lazy to play against that killer or simply ragequitted even if the round was pretty balanced, it's much healthier now because people HAVE to bother to play the rounds now. I saw so many games myself I would have lost as killer without someone ragequitting for no good reason.

Also if they are so overpowered you will die quickly anyways and besides that they are adding more and more surrender-mechanics (also not a fan of that, but there you go).

Your experience is clearly different to mine, but glad you don't share the same frustration

It's certainly a work in progress for me. Don't get me wrong, the more you play a killer the easier it gets to escape as you learn their mechanics. I'm by no means a particularly skilled player, and haven't really been playing all that long. Hopefully I'll get better but this was my immediate reaction and have been feeling continually frustrated since. I'm happy for you that you don't share the same frustration however.

I'll keep trying but it's still not been great 😭
