Self unhook when "Abandon" match pop up?

Why can't I self unhook when the "Abandon" match icon pops up? All my teamates are already on the ground. I should be able to try my luck.
This, and many other details were forgotten or left out when the go-next prevention patch was made. I feel there should be exeptions to the 2 or less to self unhook.
Some exeptions would be : when all survivors are on the floor and the "Abandon" pop up is shown and when only 1 survivor is standing and all other are either dead or crawling.
These are my ideas on how to balance a go-next prevention. I am probably missing a few exeptions but it would only make sense to include the previously stated scenarios as exeptions to the rule
