Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Remove/Change Anonymous Mode

I'm concerned that "Anonymous Mode" inadvertently shields cheaters from accountability, making it harder to report and ban them effectively. Being able to see player IDs would greatly assist in providing video evidence.

Writing this after I encountered two cheaters — (one used Steam the other one Epic Games)

I've had script abusers on anon mode get banned after I report them.

The real problem is they don't get banned fast without also supplying video evidence, and on top of it, stuff like the epic giveaway and such give them more accounts to do this on.

Anon mode does not affect the ability to report a player or protect them from accountability in any way. As long as you've made an in-game report and sent video evidence to Support, the person you are reporting is handled exactly the same way whether they are on Anon or not.

That's really good to know. I just assumed that wasn't the case and haven't been reporting cheaters for that reason.
