I feel like this should be a feature in the game at this point. I understood not having it before bots were added, because you would just disappear. With the addition of bots it only makes sense to be allowed to reconnected in place of the bot. Sometimes my internet disconnects me from the game and I have no option to rejoin and I get a match penalty for no reason. It is really frustrating getting banned for something out of my control and I believe being able to reconnected would have no negative consequences for the survivors or killers.

    Now with bots, the surrender mechanic, and the loss of 4%, backfilling would bring the game full circle to totally nullify the DC penalty. I think it should absolutely be done.

    Last I remember, this cannot be added to the coding at this point. Much like a replay system it would have had to been originally coded back in 2016 it's too late now.

    Maybe in a possible DBD 2 someday?
