Base-kit BT and new UI idea
Base-Kit Borrowed Time Endurance Limitation
• The base-kit Endurance effect (Borrowed Time) granted to Survivors after being unhooked now deactivates if the unhook occurs within 32 meters of a powered exit gate.
This change is intended to limit abuse of base-kit Endurance during the endgame and encourage more strategic unhooks.
Hook UI Indicator for Base-Kit Endurance
• Both Killer and Survivor UIs will now display a white circle around the hooked Survivor’s icon to indicate whether they will receive base-kit Endurance upon unhook.
• White circle = Survivor will receive base-kit Endurance
• No circle = Survivor will not receive base-kit Endurance
This feature is designed to improve clarity and reduce confusion around Endurance eligibility.

Can you guys stop using the word "abuse" for everything in the game? Nothing is abused when it is simply used and in the game. Otherwise - can you please stop the M1-abusing when you hit me? I dont like it.
To the idea itself - obviously No. There is no reason why this should be a thing. Basekit Endurance is intended to be active in Endgame, if you expect free Kills in Endgame (and this is what you are basically asking for), you are pretty wrong in assuming you get them. Maybe try to kill all Survivors before Endgame?
And the UI-change is obviously a big "No" as well. This is just a "Hit me"-sign on the Survivor, because the Killer has a clear Indicator when they can hit the Survivor immediatly without having to count to 10 before…

This is a dumb change. It guarantees a kill and is the exact reason that we had basekit BT in the end-game to begin with.

Killers have to hook the survivor near a powered exit gate so survivors can just leave it 99% then this won’t deactivate BT and it’s still active during the endgame just not near the powered exit gates which gives survivors a free escape at that point in the current game.
Also the UI only has the white circle when the hook icon on the survivor is showing not when they get off the hook, the white circle disappears when there off the hook.

Practically speaking this just adds a burden of knowledge that will cause new/inexperienced players to die more often while not affecting stronger players in the slightest. There's no point to a change like this except to annoy and scare away weaker players and make the game less appealing to newer players.

Did you not read that bit?

Nah dawg, its fine as is. No need to complicate things.

That would be unnecessary, you want to hook closer to the middle anyways so that wouldn't get used very much. Only thing it would do is switching the tactical aspect from the killer to the survivor.
Also I'm happy they took away endgame ds so bt is really not a problem for me.

I did read that bit. As it turns out, "add a little UI element that the players need to notice, interpret, and react to" doesn't make the burden of knowledge any easier on beginner survivors.

"count to ten" tech is too hard these days?
Cause even in the worst case scenario, where you pick up while standing in the open exit gate, you can walk 11-15 seconds without a wiggle and they can't make it back to the starting point after the unhook in 10 seconds.
This is really, really unnecessary.

Well without it its guarantee escape on the other hand which isnt healty for the game either. Just like getting another hook on other survivor then findibg one that was hooked before and getting stun from decisive strike which makes it untitunnel use more antihook theres reason some perks like ds or otr are turned of when last gen is compleated because it would be super easy escape. Sometimes you cant hook survivor futher from the gate because hook spawns arent good most of times and smart survivors wil bodyblock you and force you to hook near gate, same as getting last kill with m1 killer sometimes all you can do is wait if survivors will make mistake or not.

It takes at least two players to execute a unhook in the EGC. If the Killer is in that position, then they should not be in a winning position by default.
1 -
Yes you need two but in some situations its easy to pull like if you are near powered or opened gate.
0 -
Not really. You need comms or you need everyone to know what they are doing, which is decidedly uncommon.
0 -
You dont need coms just good survivors against most m1 can pull it of and if you are near gate which is opened the unhooked one can bodyblock or desdhsrd can be in game which is super strong to use in gate area or in some stressfull situation for killer.

I'd like you to reread the post and pay attention to the part after the "or," please.
