Kaneki Movement Speed Nerf + Remove Mend from him
I’ve seen a lot of suggestions for making Kaneki’s base movement speed 110% instead of 115% I want to say I disagree with this. (Partially)
I want to suggest that he is 110% while NOT enraged. This will do a few things. First of all force the kaneki to use his power more then he is already, which may give survivors more time and allow for more of a ‘Stay Injured’ playstyle. Second of all it will make his largest strength harder to get, being his enraged form. I feel a lot of the complaints I see Kaneki get are only justified if you’re talking about enraged Kaneki.
That is the main reason I made this post. However, If I were to give another suggestion I would say remove the deep wound and make each hit go directly into a timer, maybe making the timer longer as base to accommodate. This is useful for many reasons, first of all a killer with as much movement as Kaneki does not need basekit slowdown with the mend, especially with such an easy hit, second this will also force him to be more aggressive and use the power more even on an injured survivor (especially along with a 110% out of rage) as well as continuing the allow a ‘Stay injured’ playstyle.
To wrap this up I feel these would be the best changes to him as someone who mains Kaneki. I should also say that if these were implemented and seem like too much it would be totally rad if his range was buffed a little to be closer to how it was before (Even if not completely there) 🙏
