It isn't a God pallet. A God pallet the killer has no option but to break and the survivor will gain distance whilst that happens. This breaks the moment it goes down. So if the stun is missed the survivor gains nothing from your "rebuilt God pallet". That doesn't sound like a God pallet really does it? It sounds like a crap party pallet with extra work to get 1 of them.... because that is what it is
The perk should be scrapped and something decent put in its place. It is another waste of a perk for survivors.

What do you mean Distortion needs charges?
You literally use the Blood Amber key for an advantage in chase... Distortion charges by being in chase, and Distortion barely takes any time to charge up at all.... the benefit of Distortion here is obvious... probably the strongest combo there is with modern Blood Amber.
OOO is fine man, I run it with OTR to prevent being tunneled, but if you play with it and have nerves og steel, it's often more of a benefit than a detriment. The only stealth killer it really hurts you against is Wraith, everyone else like Pig, Myers, Ghost Face, it doesn't really make a difference, and the tracking and stats boosts otherwise are pretty nice. Quite often you'll see the killer, and they aren't even looking your direction. It's a shame it doesn't work with Eyes of Belmont though 😢
I mean sure... but if you're gonna have that downside, the Blood Amber needs to be buffed considerably elsewhere, because key should be much stronger for this purpose, but with that downside, then the Map Iri is just objectively better.

Tbh, that Map iri shouldn't exist.
Balance aside, it doesn't fit thematically, as Maps only track objects. In the same update, they removed the Empathy effect from Bloodsense maps, so there was no change of plans either.

The key has a massively bigger range, which means the survivor can use it while the killer is much farther away. Keys also have the basekit ability to see survivor auras, which means if the killer is chasing someone else, the key's normal ability could be used to reveal where the killer is, by revealing the survivor being chased.
The map's beam of light is much much smaller, and it's centered on the survivor, and the beam doesn't move. This means if the survivor uses the map, and tries to run away, the aura reveal circle doesn't move with the survivor (unlike the key's aura reveal circle, which does move with the survivor). So depending on where the survivor runs to, the killer might exit the map's aura circle before its timer runs out…and in the worst case scenario, the survivor guessed incorrectly and ran in the wrong direction, and the killer reaches the survivor without having its aura revealed.

Let people have their synergies, it's a big part of what makes the game replayable and fun.
I remember when you were worried about rapid response being 'the new object' and guess what, nobody uses it.

It’s not a synergy. It’s people wanting to bypass an intentional downside of an addon.
And having a low pick rate doesn’t mean something is balanced. Current blood amber is overtuned, even though it doesn’t have a high pick rate.

So do you believe things with downsides should never have ways of bypassing them?
Because:
Dark Arrogance + Enduring/Lightborn does that
Hubris + Enduring does that (The downside is you need to get stunned)
Jagged Compass + Gift of pain/Floods of rage does that (Any hook will trigger them instead of only scourge hooks)
Grim Embrace + Dead Man's Switch does that (Instead of the killer needing to force someone off a gen, grim embrace does it for you)
Bonnie's Guitar Strings + Security Badge for Animatronic does that
I could go on and on if I really wanted.

Blood amber is clearly being modeled after Object of Obsession, which requires the survivor’s aura to be revealed.
As in, this should intended to be a mandatory downside, that shouldn’t be bypassed.

Why not? If survivors want to run stuff to bypass a downside let them.
Killers do it, I gave you an entire list. Dark Arrogance makes you vault faster but has a big downside that Killers, if they so choose, can work around. I don't see you complaining about it.

Yes, some downsides can be bypassed, but it’s INTENDED for players to be able to fully or partially bypass those downsides.

So new blood amber/aura blocking is fine then by your own logic. If it wasn't """intended""" then it wouldn't happen or be designed that way. The only people who decide if something is intended is BHVR themselves after all.

You’re literally trying to argue that game bugs don’t exist.
There have been many things in this game, that happened, but weren’t designed that way. That’s literally what a game bug is.
It’s valid to say that BHVR can decide if something is intended or not. But it’s not valid to say something is intended just because it’s the way the game currently works.

Nope. Not what I said in the slightest. Let's break down what the effect says shall we
While using the Key, the following effects apply:
- The Aura of the Killer is revealed to you.
- Your Aura is revealed to the Killer.
Notice how they are two SEPERATE effects? Which means one or both can be countered by both sides. Distortion, Undetectable and so on. Absolutely nothing buggy about it.

That logic implies BHVR never accidentally words perks incorrectly.

It matters if that is intended or not. For example, it's not intended for Clown to bypass the number of carried bottles if he equips Pinkie Finger, so Clown should not be able to bypass that.

First, I applaud you guys trying to keep the survivor experience fresh with the new item. Marvelous stuff! I'm a killer main through and through, but I want people to have fun.
I do think you are a little too careful when it comes to survivor perks. You create niche perks that require jumping through a dozen hoops and may only be useful a single time in a match. That isn't something particularly fun. Whereas a killer perk such as Surge or Grim Embrace, just works.
On to the killer stuff since that's my area, the clown changes are……eh? I don't main him so I will defer to the pro himself (Arinad) who apparently isn't a fan.
Knight however is my baby, and damn. He sure gets nerfed a lot for a lower tier killer. It's clear that balancing the bot chases are nigh impossible for behavior and at this point I wish they would just give him a complete rework. Survivors hate playing against me on knight because of the bots, yet the bots have to be borderline useless not to curb stomp noobs. I love him to death, but I think it's time to think about letting this style of gameplay die. Nobody wants to play against bots, and Knight had to put a lot of work in to make these bots do anything worth a damn.
EDIT: I forgot to say well done on Pyramid Head! He is looking fantastic and the variety of playstyles coming from addons is EXACTLY how killers should be designed.

I will assume the next coming Killer or Killer perks will be done to bypass some of the buffs to certain Survivor things, or at least that the MMR changes planned will finally hardstick strong teams and sweatier Killers against each other where they belong since they all play at a level with a degree of unfun coordination that the casuals don't enjoy playing at. Hopefully casual players will never have to see either again outside of events, right, BHVR?

Coming back to say that after some research, these clown changes are abysmal. I can't believe you can revamp pyramid head in such an excellent way, yet butcher the clown.
A killer with such little actual pressure shouldn't be receiving nerfs like this, when ######### blight, nurse, and ghoul exist. A few buffs and addons made baseline would have been great, even with the reduced hindered speed.......but this? Jesus christ.
