Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Sudden MMR drop during the event?

I've been having an issue for the past ~40 killer games where I'm getting matched against REALLY new survivors, most with less than 5 hours in the game. They're so new that I've been running no perks & no addons on Xeno and usually they get 0 gens done by the time I have everyone on death hook so I just let them go or give the last one hatch.

I have 2500+ hours and I thought I was quite high MMR on all my killers. I'm playing the masquerade event so I would expect a decent amount of players close to my skill level. It's getting boring just playing against super new players and I don't wanna just destroy them and ruin their experience with DBD.

Is anyone else having issues like this? And do I just need to 4k a bunch of baby Leons to get my MMR back up? :(

MMR is a bit different for events, in some like 2v8 it just doesn't apply and others its less of a factor (iirc). Killer queue times in the event have been pretty slow too so your MMR bracket will get widened pretty quickly when you start searching for a match.
