Every single match i see these perks. Do you?
We are not in self healing meta definetly.
So tell me why every single match i see botany+self-care or desperate measures+self-care?
Or 4 people with type of build like S-C, botany, vigil, sprint burst?
And these people win 60% of the time i played since 9.0.0, the rest that played different usualy didnt end up so well.
P.s.:"They could escape but died due to bloodwarden >:) And Sable was moried in that moment"

…Damn, that's a lot of Self Care, I feel like I rarely see that perk in particular.
I wouldn't be too worried about Self Care builds, they're among the weakest healing builds you can bring.

I see them rarely. Could be a regional thing, on which server do you play?

Someone is running the old reliable DS, SB.
If people say something is good, other people will use it. It's the same for Call of Brine/Overcharge. It's the streamer effect in action.

You could make an argument for such before the recent buff to Desperate Measures, but with it? Healing builds are actually insane.
-4 -
Desperate Measures is so bad for self heal I don't know why people do it.
Was it a 4 Escape? Feng and Elodie seemed like they did little.

I've got a 35% escape rate and I use those perks. Trust me, it's not the perks that are getting these players escapes. Maybe more players have finally caught on that Botany + Self-Care is a solid combo?
I do find SWFs tend to run very similar or near identical builds, so maybe that's a factor as well?
3 -
finesse, lithe, resilence and windows is prolly the combo I see the most

Healing builds in general, absolutely, but not Self Care. It's better than Botany if everyone's injured, but I feel like it's still not that good even then and it definitely isn't for only one or two injured survivors.
I'd absolutely buy "viable" and even "worth running", but compared to the stuff you can do with Medkits, or Resurgence, or Strength in Shadows, or any combination thereof, I wouldn't call Self Care insane in any build.

My brother, the two people with botany would have been just as effective before the buff since they didn't bring a med-kit, and the guy who brought desperate measures died first with 10k points.
3 -
To be fair, my friend, it doesn't seem like their builds were effective.
But yes, I've been seeing Botany a lot after the buff. I even added it to my own survivor build.

Self care is terrible that's 2-3 perk slots just to heal yourself slowly, congrats

I've been running a lot of Desperate Measures and Do No Harm lately. Not that it does anything for my escape rate, since my teammates have been godawful lately. I'm having to use luck offerings, because I'm getting more and more teammates who don't seem to understand that unhooking people is a thing.

And despite them having "insane" Builds, you got a 4K? Wow.
Why dont you show us your build? Any counters against the "Healing Meta"? Or do you even win without counters?

Double post.

Bruh, i said i see these perks every single match, its not depend on points or whatever.
10k cuz all gens were done in like 4-5 minutes, i just couldnt chase everybody as 4.4 on Eyrie of Crows.
I hit, dude ran away, selfheal, sit on a gen. With medkits its busted even more.
Especialy if you didnt bring any antiheal.-2 -
I'd rather see 4 SB + Botany every game than the 1-2 syringe lobbies I get constantly.
2 -
There was nothing to show. Actualy.

- I'm 100% SURE that all these people complaining about the "healing meta" are on the Asian servers. Here on the European servers, the only perks I consistently see are "we'll make it" and "resurrance," the occasional "Botany," "Mikaela boon," and Orela's new perk... STOP. It's been ages since I've seen "self-care." Here in Europe, I constantly see windows, exhaustion perks, DS, or Gen Rush builds.🤣

Thank you. And no, I would say, there is something to show. If you would have had a full Anti-Healing Build or a strong focus on Anti-Healing, then it would make a huge difference from your Build.
3 -
I'm still seeing way more lithe+Finesse than anything. if I see a healing perk it's Resurgence

The only thing that makes Self Care unviable is because the LARGE majority of people who use it inefficiently. Being able to self reset (at a decent speed at that) can allow you to go for a save solo and in some cases get out of there safely due to the unhook speed of Desperate Measures allowing the person that was just unhooked to take a hit (whereas usually its a trade).
This allows the other 2 survivors to be on gens, and lets say the killer leaves and decides to chase one of them off, you have the healing perks to also quickly reset your teammate.

Sure, if you run Self Care with either Botany Knowledge or Desperate Measures (at full stacks), it's an acceptably slow and flexible self heal.
My point is, that doesn't make it crazy good or insane, it just makes it workable. Imagine the same scenario, but you can use a medkit to heal either noticeably faster or passively, or only needing to run to the basement to heal in under half the time it'd take otherwise, or hopping in a locker for only eight seconds.
That's not even counting other strong healing scenarios, like Resurgence allowing you to get back into the action safely extremely quickly or Clean Break letting you spend even less time to do gens while getting healed. Those are all just flat out faster than running Self Care with its supporting perks. The same number of loadout slots can grant you SIGNIFICANTLY better outcomes, because while Self Care can be worthwhile, it's also among the weakest dedicated setups for self healing— there are other ways of being able to self-reset and most of them are just flat out better in every way.
The only thing Self-Care has is that it's more repeatable than medkits, and more flexible than anything else. A really slim edge compared to the ways it doesn't stack up.3 -
Looking at their items, this isnt that big of a deal. If its that botany is "way stronger" (a complaint im seeing people consistently talking about) the only change recently given to botany was it effecting medkits (and most medkits die after 1 use, 2 if youre feeling saucy with add ons. People are behaving like it now gives people an infinite medkit that they can abuse to cut down healing to 5 seconds). Self care is still a waste because there are so many other, better perks you can bring. Its not like the dbd of old where you can heal up in the killers face faster than they can down you. If they are self caring constantly, they are wasting time not doing the actual objective, even with botany. I don't understand the constant complaints I'm seeing when there are so many answers with other perks to counter healing if thats really becoming an issue. If we are in a meta where this IS actively becoming an issue, then use the tools you are given to fix the problems. There is a plethora of different abilities to run that help answer this, but a lot of killers these days just stick to the same 4-8 perks because they'd be damned if they try something different. They do that then theyll just go back to complaining about gen speeds.
The amount of complaints I've seen on the forums and youtube have been so hyperbolic in regards to this new supposed meta because most killers just can't be bothered with changing up their perks to counter things, with the general consensus being that they NEED some other perks or the game is just unplayable. (Example is walking into a squad of 4 man swf sweats and seeing them all 4 have flashlights. Instead of bringing lightborn to actually fully counter the entire comp, say they won't because it's a "waste", then start complaining flashlights are too strong and should be nerfed because they didn't use the literal tool for the job. Square block goes in the square hole man.)
It's like being handed 4 potential tools for a job. You're given instructions that these tools will help make things easier for the constant workflow youre most likely going to see, (in this case healing speed decrease perks) you take a look at a different set of tools, and say nah you like this other set better because it deals with this other set of potential issues. Then complain when the job is harder because you aren't using the very tools designed to make it easier in favor of another set, because what those do seem more enticing for a different set of issues than the ones given to fix the current issues.
It still takes on average to self care WITH botany knowledge, around 20+ seconds (correct me if im wrong.). About half a minute. Run Nurses calling to see the people constantly doing it if this is such meta these days. There are slowdowns, sloppy butcher, shoot Thana is still highly used as a slowdown for all things.
People still run Scourge hook Pain resonance paired with eruption etc, run it with Gift of pain for more value. Pair it with Leverage, you're given the tools to help slow it down. The same way they are bringing 2 abilities+ to counter dieing fast or try to make things more effective, so can the killers. If the complaint is that you shouldnt have to bring abilities to make up for it, that would make things overly linear. Remember when a few patches back healing took so long due to perk combos and some addons the killers could bring? (Depending on what and who, over a whole minute to heal to heal up.)
Doubling up on a survivor should in fact cut down the time on having to heal. If the complaint is that it now takes 7-10 seconds when 2 people double up on healing, that means you have 3 survivors in the same area not doing the objective as a trade off, even if its for 7-10 seconds. It should be easier to just attack all 3 of the survivors in the same area.

Whereas I see on average one healing perk across the entire survivor team per game. Time of day and region are probably factors but neither my experience nor yours means there is or isn't a healing meta. It's simply anecdotal at best.

I mean, there's 2 BK but also 2 OTR and 2 SB and 2 Bond. There's 3 Self-Care, but for Feng it's still a slow heal so kinda pointless that one. This looks like an adequately mixed bag to me. Not even a medkit in there.
Recently buffed perks seeing more use is hardly news worthy. It's actually the point of them getting buffed.
