New Killer Concept: The Machine

The Machine
Terror Radius: 32 meters
Movement Speed: 4.4 m/s
Height: Average
Three modes

  • Detection Mode: While standing still for at least 3 seconds this power activates, Scratch marks become twice as bright and are further spread out. If a Survivor enters your terror radius you get a killer instinct notification until you begin moving; If you maintain line of sight for 3 seconds scan the survivor and reveal their aura for 6 seconds; the survivor will stay scanned for 30 seconds. You also see the progress of all generators; you see the percentage of generator progress just above the generator.
  • Patrol Mode: While not in chase for 5 seconds you enter Patrol mode, while in Patrol mode if a survivor within your terror radius cleanses a totem, opens a chest, enters or exits a locker you receive a loud noise notification. While not in chase you have 5% haste. Once you enter chase you leave this mode instantly.
  • Assault Mode: Once you have been in chase for a total of 30 seconds you enter Assault Mode for 60 seconds; chasing a scanned survivor will add double the progression. while in Assault Mode your terror radius is increased by 8 meters. While in assault mode you break pallets, vault, pick up/hook survivors, and open lockers 15% faster. You recover from missed/successful basic attacks, and pallet/locker stuns 20% faster.

Ways Assault mode can be charged faster, getting stunned by any means adds 25% of your meter, instead of gaining bloodlust gain 15% of your Assault meter.

Perks:

  • Maintain Order:
  • Survivors inside your Terror Radius suffer from the following effects
  • Survivors cannot hit great skill checks.
  • Skill checks appear 5%/10%/15% more frequently

  • Primary Target:
  • You become Obsessed with one Survivor.
  • at the start of the trial reveal the aura of your obsession for 3/4/5 seconds in yellow. Whenever another
    survivors aura would be revealed, reveal your obsessions aura for 3/4/5 seconds in yellow.
    • When you hook the obsession another random survivor becomes the obsession.
      • Primary Target disables once the obsession has been Sacrificed, killed, or escaped.

  • Search and Destroy:
  • After performing the Damage Generator action, Search and Destroy activates:
  • Causes that Generator to become a Compromised Generator.
    • Damaging another Generator transfers the state to it instead.
      • The Aura of the Compromised Generator is highlighted to you in yellow until it is completed.
        • Once the Compromised Generator is completed, the generator with the most progress instantly
          explodes and loses 10/15/20% of its progress and begins regressing. Any Survivors working on
          that generator scream; that generator is then revealed to you in yellow for 10 seconds.


Add-Ons:
Iri: Buried Bullet - Start the Trial in assault mode, if you are stunned by a pallet while in assault mode, reset your timer. You cannot enter detection mode while in assault mode.


Iri: Broken Motherboard - You cannot enter assault mode, while in patrol mode your terror radius is increased by 8 meters. Whenever a survivor within your terror radius hits a good skill check receive a loud noise notification; this can only trigger every 5 seconds.


Very Rare: Thermal Chip - While in detection mode gain undetectable, upon scanning a survivor reveal their aura for an additional 10 seconds

Very Rare: Optimized Optics - While in detection mode increase your terror radius by 8 meters. Decrease the time to enter detection mode by 1 second.

Very Rare: Reactive Plating - While in assault mode if you stunned by a pallet instantly break it. When a pallet is broken this way you lose 50% of your assault meter. While in assault mode you no longer benefit from the 20% stun reduction.

Very Rare: Broken Cooling Unit - While in patrol mode you gain an additional 5% haste, upon exiting patrol mode gain 5% hindered for 5 seconds. While in assault mode you can now gain bloodlust, after losing bloodust gain 5% hindered for 5 seconds.

Rare: Adaptive Learning - Each time chase is lost gain a token; up to 10. Upon reaching 10 tokens consume all tokens and reveal each survivors aura for 15 seconds.

Rare: Misconstrued Orders - While in assault mode upon injuring or downing a survivor gain a Killer instinct notification for 3 seconds on all survivors within your terror radius.

Rare: Stealth Coating - While in patrol mode you have undetectable, and your footsteps are quieter. You no longer gain the 5% haste benefit.

Rare: Override Restrictions - The first 10 seconds of Assault mode all survivors suffer from the exposed status effect.

Rare: Frayed Wiring - It takes 20 less seconds to enter assault mode, assault mode only lasts 30 seconds. You stay in patrol mode for 2 seconds after entering chase.

Uncommon: Corrupted commands - Upon entering assault mode all survivors scream within your terror radius and reveal their location for 3 seconds.

Uncommon: Improper Instructions - While in patrol mode any survivor who is injured from a basic attack will suffer from the mangled status effect.

Uncommon: Upgraded sensors - Decrease the time it takes to scan a survivor by 1 second.

Uncommon: Malfunctioning Software - While in patrol mode if you begin a chase with a scanned Survivor gain 10 seconds of your Assault meter.

Uncommon: Broken Power Core - You no longer benefit from the 5% haste in Patrol mode. Change base movement speed to 4.6 m/s

Common: Boosted Audio - While in patrol mode the sounds of survivors actions is 5% louder

Common: Tweaked Perception - Enter Detection mode 0.5 seconds faster.

Common: Updated Algorithms - Enter Assault mode 5 seconds faster

Common: Thermal Paste - Assault mode lasts 10 seconds longer.

I don't have the backstory fully fleshed out but what I was aiming for was a Military robot that was built using an adaptive AI that was designed to fulfill orders by any means necessary. Its first day on the field it was given the order to eliminate all threats no matter the method. After sustaining heavy damage it's on the field the ai corrupted and viewed all living things as threats and thus began killing everything, no one knows where it went; all they know is through the screams for help on the radio there was also reports of a strange black fog enveloping the machine.

Let me know what you guys think! I would love to have another robot killer in this game, Singu is easily top 3 for me and I would love to see another join the robo party.
