Invisible Dredge on Dead Sands

TL;DR: Loaded into a game on Dead Sands (Forsaken Boneyard) against Dredge, he was invisible until the first nightfall.
PLATFORM: PC
Game started, I found a gen. I heard the killer so I let go and started running and then noticed the killer was invisible and I could only see the red stain. I lost the chase, his arms became visible when he picked me up. Then I was hanging on the hook and next time I saw him (during nightfall) he was visible again.
