How to transfer preset settings (templates) from one character to another?

  1. I want to transfer the settings in a simple and convenient way, in the form of some JSON file. But I have not found any mention of the game configuration anywhere. In addition, I would like to share my character settings with other people.
  2. I accumulate a lot of items that I would like to use, but for each character I have to create the same presets.

But both of these questions would disappear by themselves if:

  1. If the presets were common for all characters. Why can't all presets be made common? Because some characters may simply not have some skills, due to not being leveled up. And yet, presets need to be made common and the skill simply highlighted as "not leveled up".
  2. If items were common for all characters.

P.S. of course, when I write "for all characters", I mean "for all characters from one faction".

    Me when anyone is asking for Shared Inventory.

    We just want to use the items we have earned on the characters we want to play, please bump it up the production pipeline.

    There should be a way to share presets with other characters, BUT it should be a fully optional feature. You should still be able to have separate presets on different characters. If sharing was forced and you were stuck with 7 presets across all characters of a role, that would be a massive downgrade to the system.

    In other words, yes the ability to share should exist, but it should be fully in the player's control as to whether to do that or not.

    Yeah, sure. That's what I mean. I just want to share my presets with other people using a JSON file. And I wouldn't mind using some presets on all characters at once. A classic example is the loot box preset.
