Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Boon perks Buff

Could we make all activated Boons to stay in the game if we leave or die? Until the killer snuff it. It would actually make a bigger impact if the boon user die.

At least can we have this😇 Solo Que is harsh, and this would help a bit.

Yes! Many of my friends have died because my boons died with me🙈

I think boons should be nerfed, not buffed.
Not by nerfing their effects, but by limiting the number of times you can bless.

For example: only 5 blessings per match, or only 1 blessing per totem.

    Why do you want that?

When I use a boon build or something with a boon, do u know how much time I can waste on blessing a totem😂 or just finding a totem😅

Even though if the killer find my boon quick, I gotta waste more time on blessing. So no Boons do not need to be nerfed. But we all have different opinions on that. Also, I do know many totem spots, but I have been struggling to find totems now days. Devs have been good to mix their spawns.

When we first got introduced boon perks. I didn't like them at all. I thought they didn't fit the game. And I didn't like plp wasting time blessing boons. But they become useful. And I saw the fun in them. And sometimes they help out a lot.

Playing killer, I always snuff boons when I hear one. Who knows what survivors are abusing. Just kidding xD but yeah I usually snuff them, so they have to waste time to bless a new one / or the same one.

I agree, IF also there are some compensation changes to boons, like faster bless speed, range buffs, stronger effects ect.

I’ve tried to look at this as neutrally as possible. In some cases, boons are used by bully squads to harass the killer. And if we’re being fair, once a killer’s Hex Totem is destroyed, it’s gone permanently with no compensation. The only form of compensation is through Hex: Pentimento with The Artist, but that basically means sacrificing a perk slot for free (unless you’re running a full Hex build). Meanwhile, boons can be blessed over and over again no matter how many times they’re snuffed out. And if you tell me killers can permanently destroy boons with Shattered Hope, it goes back to the same issue for me. it’s wasting a perk slot for free. If in that match survivors don’t bring a boon, then the perk is completely useless.

When I play killer, I find boon perks extremely annoying. especially Boon: Shadow Step. Even after I snuff it out, it gets re-blessed almost immediately. To me, blessing costs the survivor basically no time at all, while it wastes a huge amount of time for the killer to keep snuffing them out.

From my perspective as a survivor, boons don’t really need to be blessed that often anyway. Most of the time, they’re mainly used in SWF groups and bully squads. In my normal games, whether I’m solo or in SWF, there’s no real necessity to bless over and over. Honestly, I feel bad for killers who constantly have to snuff them out, only for me to bless again, looping endlessly with no end in sight.

Honestly, this or increase the area of effect range from 24 to 26 meters.

Any way to make them less situational

    Oh my god yes!!

I love bringing Shadow Step and the Haste boon when I’m with friends or feeling helpful in soloq.

But some matches can be draining and I want to move on ( I rarely ever abandon even if I’m losing because my boon will also disappear and I just don’t). But if my boon can stay after my death, that’d be amazing.
