Hud disappear Survivor 2v8

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: I got into a lobby and got on a generator before the hud had even loaded in, missed a skill check because the hud hadn't loaded in and then was stuck without a hud for the rest of the match. Many menu elements were also missing, notably the buttons to disconnect and continue in the end screen.
PLATFORM: Steam PC
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED: got into a survivor 2v8 match and near instantly got on a gen, a skill check procced and I missed it because it wasn't visible, then my hud was gone for the rest of the match.
