At this point, I think most of us agree that the latest Clown buff:

  • Decreased the time it takes for Afterpiece Antidote gas clouds to activate to 1 second (was 2).

that makes him easier to play and apparently strong will be reverted

I also hope that the recent nerfs:

  • Decreased the Hindered effect of Afterpiece Tonic to 14% (was 15%).
  • Decreased the Hindered effect linger time from Afterpiece Tonic gas clouds to 1 second (was 2).

ill be reverted too. Honestly, I never had an issue with Clown’s previous linger time of tonic gas, and I don’t see a clear reason for the nerf. It seems BHVR’s current strategy is that every buff must be followed by a nerf.

Now, focusing on Clown’s actual gameplay and my idea: his weaknesses haven’t changed with the recent buff. Survivors can still counter him by just pressing W, make generators or just die in the edges of the map.Clown still suffers from poor map control.

Here’s my proposal: Clown should be able to chug all stacks of his bottles to gain 30% Haste until either he enters a chase or reloads his bottles.

The goal is to give him more map momentum without creating a chase-breaking ability. After using this ability, he would need to reload to use his bottles again, giving survivors time to escape. The reload time could even be slightly longer if this ability is used, but that would need PTR testing if that is needed or not

This adjustment allows Clown to traverse the map more efficiently, maintaining his weaknesses and ensuring the ability isn’t overpowered in chases.

    That wouldn't work. Clown players would moon walk up to survivors backs at 145% to prevent chase starting. The activation time for yellow bottles just needs to be reverted

    I said that the activation time will be reverted in my first sentence. But than clown still needs a buff because he was too weak and is still too weak in higher MMR. Hes just dominating low mmr atm because its now very easy to use his power.

    So you mean walk backwards to the survivor than turn around and quickly hit him? Than the suv can just go around a conor. Its very hard to moonwalk a longer distance because well you cannot see the survivors. To remember all tiles and windows backwards without seeing them has a very very very high skillcelling. It is possible to get closer to the survivor yes, but at some point you have to turn around and since you dindt reload you are a m1 killer without an ability.But in practical its basicly impossible what you are suggesting,

    I mean we are talking about players who are not able to use clowns ability if there is a 1sec longer delay on the yellow bottles.
