how I think legion and his add ons should be buffed
So after a bit of testing and a bit of thinking, testing out certain perks, and running around shack in a few 1v1 tests to see what legion could use the most and also a few minor things that could be helpful, these changes are things I thought would benefit legion but also not make him oppressive, most of these are updated from the last post, this will also include a few add on changes
To make legion more dynamic in chase, and also feel more capable of being able to seal the deal more effectively but not make him oppressive or hard to counter, is to rework his fatigue, (0.5 seconds going into 2.3 m/s from feral frenzy speed, 1.5 seconds staying at that speed and 0.5 going back to base 4.6 m/s) this allows for more dynamic engagements and also makes him more effective outside of power
While legion has quite decent mobility especially with the new update, however getting 5th hits is still quite hard on bigger maps and also maps that are pallet dependent, so to fix this we will be increasing his speed to 6m/s (BUFF) but reducing his duration to 10 seconds (REVERESAL)
This allows for quicker attacks and engagements while still being an overall buff to his distance but still leaning towards his power, which is being super fast with a knife!
Many of these updates are to help him during 1v1’s and overall have a better basekit, however if we don’t decrease this, the bonus speed increase can add up quite quickly due to his already increased speed from the frenzy speed update, making it harder for survivors to counterplay, to bodyblock, or stun him.
this is a small buff, but also allows him to apply deep wound and use his power quicker and better, this makes engagements more active instead of a cat and mouse chase and also helps lean into one of his abilities which is tracking!
Alot of people have said it, and I'll said it aswell, make frank's mixtape basekit, (well atleast the power gauge pause). this gives legion some noticeable utility, and also can consistently be performed, if you're breaking a generator or wall while in power without frank's mixtape, even if sed survivor is quite close to you, the amount of power you would lose would make it an unviable option then just running frank's mixtape.
Able to see survivors within 20 meters after a break action for 4 seconds
Due to the changes for his power gauge being able to pause this may make frank’s mixtape less powerful and may be underused because of its only effect of being able to increase breaking speed of generators and breakable walls, so we decided to add something to it aswell, which is aura reading, for 4 seconds within 20 meters of sed generator, this is similar to one of blights old add on’s which gave him basekit blood favor albeit weaker.
Increases vaulting speed in feral frenzy by 25%
Joey’s mixtape is the add on that gets heavily underused due to the small effect that most likely won’t help in alot of situations, the rework will instead add the ability to vault 25% faster in feral frenzy, this seems like a weird change however its meant to be a fun add on and can be useful for 1v1 situations and has better use cases compared to its current form
Increases mending from deep wound to +6 (was +4)
Due to the decrease in mending time having something to also help with slowdown even slightly is a good addition, deathslinger has 2 add ons for mending time however legion only has one, so lets make it 6 seconds compared to 4, the time adds up over time which is why it’s used quite a bit
Mural sketch increases bonus speed per feral attack by +0.1
Due to the reverse of the 0.24 m/s bonus on hit speed, I will also reverse this one to 0.1+m/s instead of currently which is 0.08+ m/s
Now there is 3 legion pin add ons so I will go over the reworks for each one
THE LEGION PIN: survivors suffer from a 9% hindered penalty for 3 seconds after a feral attack
DEFACED SMILEY PIN: survivors suffer from the broken status effect for 90 seconds after mending from deep wound
SMILEY FACE PIN: survivors suffer from blindness during deep wound
This allows him to be more dynamic and have a wide variety of add ons to choose from for different playstyles
Reduces speed to 5.2 m/s with the effect of increases duration by +4 seconds
I liked the current never sleep pills and its effect so I thought of doing the same here reducing the movement speed down to 5.2 m/s however increasing the time by 4 seconds allowing for quicker downs from 5th hits while also having the speed downside like in its original form
Increases aura reading time to +7 instead of 4
One of my favorite add ons but it is harder to use due to the 4 seconds it currently has, mainly because there is a higher chance of you missing the survivors location during that time, so lets match it with similar add ons from wesker (healing from a passive slowdown effect) and increased it to 7 seconds
Mischief list increases base speed by +0.3 m/s
In its current effect, mischief list is a great add on, allowing for legion to hit survivors he wasn’t able to hit before, but with the basekit buffs this rework might be more needed, so instead of increasing the duration it increased the feral frenzy speed to 6.4 making it slightly more dynamic and also leaning in to what legion likes to be, which is very fast with a knife
This hopefully makes him even more viable than last time, but not too oppressive, if you would like to know the original changes you can check my profile it will be my first post, these new changes address more issues that many legion players might face when playing him, in hopes to change his basekit, I have also added add on changes, I would like criticism and also feedback on what you may think! Thanks for taking the time to read!

I respect the effort you’ve put into this write-up — Legion mains deserve a voice and you clearly thought this through. The problem isn’t that your ideas are badly structured, it’s that they’re trying to polish a design that was never really healthy for the game in the first place.
The core issue with Legion has always been the same: Frenzy was designed around mass injury, free Deep Wound spam, and constant wallhacks. On paper that makes him “pressure heavy.” In practice, it just means survivors sit around mending over and over while killers still struggle to secure downs. Nobody’s actually having fun. Survivors don’t feel scared, they feel bored or annoyed. Killers don’t feel threatening, they feel like they’re nickel-and-diming survivors until the match drags to an end.
That’s why I don’t think buffing Frenzy’s speed or add-ons solves the core problem — it just doubles down on the unfun part of Legion’s design. The healthier path forward would be to reframe Frenzy as a chase enhancer rather than a free-injure gimmick:
- No automatic Deep Wound. Let Frenzy help you stick to a target instead of turning the entire lobby into a mending simulator.
- No free Killer Instinct radar. Legion doesn’t need built-in wallhacks — it removes the tension of actually tracking survivors.
- Frenzy gives haste, faster vaults, and short bursts of momentum so Legion becomes the “relentless pursuer.” Survivors still get to play instead of mending nonstop, and killers actually feel like their power closes chases.
- Add-ons like Mixtapes could then enhance different chase flavors (vault speed, stamina, breaking actions), instead of just being “more mending tax.”
That way, Legion finally has a clear and healthy identity: the knife-wielding pursuer who won’t stop chasing you down. Not the “bleed-out bot” who artificially drags matches on.
The reality is that BHVR keeping Legion the way he is has nothing to do with fun. He’s their “proof” that survivors aren’t always the power role (because Legion matches either drag forever or collapse instantly), even though everyone involved hates the experience. Reworking Frenzy into an actual chase tool would be the first time Legion felt like a real horror villain instead of a design crutch.

I respect what you bring here! and thank you for reading what I believe should be legion's changes, honestly I could see this being legion as a rework of sorts, more or less I wanted to keep legion's identity without making him different, legion has had a "rework" but the core idea has been the same, but your idea is a good idea for a rework to make him less oppressive, most of what I came up with is to try and make legion a bit more powerful without making him more oppressive, but even thats hard to do, but I wanted to keep the core idea of him mainly the same, one of legion's problems is just holding W, survivors can quickly hold W or pre run and legion won't catch up as fast as he mainly should, and also how he seems unfairly less balanced with speed compared to other killers, your design is absolutely more healthy and I thank you again for reading my buff ideas for him!

hello! and thank you for reading this submission for what I believe legion's buffs should be! and I think your way of how legion should be handled is quite healthier, however my core idea is to keep legion's current basekit and revise it but not overdo it, currently legion mainly resides as a (noobstomper as people may say) and although that may seem true, he is very weak compared to other killers, which is why I wanted to buff the main issues he has had and to make him be able to be more powerful without making him overly reliant on a status effect, currently I believe behavior has done an okay job buffing him on patch 8.6.0, but I do believe he should receive more buffs, and again thank you for reading this submission, I think your take on his changes and what should be added instead are quite nice and it would get rid of his (oppressiveness) I hope you have a nice day!
