New Killer: The Villain
The Villain is a Superhuman killer, brought to Earth through an alien spacecraft. What was once a 12 year old boy, Brandon Breyer embraced the role of humanity’s conqueror soon after learning of his powers. With his Power Broodish Wrath, The Villain is capable of soaring to high heights, raining fiery beams, and utilizing the terrain as make-shift weapons.
Height: Short
Movement Speed: 4.6 m/s
Terror Radius: 32 meters, (50 Meter Lullaby)
The Villain's perks Aggression, Invocation: Starspawn, and Shortfuse allow him to manipulate technology and channel a rage no human could replicate.
Killer Power: Broodish Wrath
The Villain is capable of quickly flying up to a maximum height of 12 meters in the air (less if capped by terrain) and either dashes down with Meteoric Crash or remains in the air to fire his Heat Vision. Alternatively, the Villain may take one of two objects and carry it with him as a heftier alternative to his Primary Attack. Any of these actions deplete the Villain’s energy reservoir a certain amount. The Villain starts with 100 points of “Wrath” and generates 5 points of “wrath” per second after utilizing an ability. Flying into the air pauses this recovery until descending back down manually or after the use of an ability.
Heat Vision: Using Wrath, the Villain projects his Heat Vision to immolate nearby window and pallet vault location. When a survivor vaults over an immolated location, the survivor is inflicted with the Deep Wound status effect. Vault Locations remain immolated for 12 seconds, and cost 30 points of Wrath to do so.
Meteoric Crash: The Villain flies either horizontally or diagonally (downwards) in the direction he’s facing at a reduced turn speed of 25% and at 8m/s. Upon crashing into terrain, survivors are blown 4 meters backwards from his point of impact if within 6 meters of it. If they come in contact with a surface mid-flight, they will be dealt one health-state of damage. If the Villain lands on a survivor directly, they will be pushed back in the direction he came in contact with them, also suffering damage if blown into a surface. The Villain consumes wrath at a measure of 25 per second while flying.
Bludgeoner: The Villain picks up either a thrown pallet or his own alien space craft to use as a weapon. During this state, the Villain gains omni-directional flight at the cost of 17 points of wrath per second and a 10% Hindered penalty. If a survivor is hit with either of these items, the survivor is immediately downed. If the Villain does not strike a survivor, or if he is stunned/blinded by a survivor while carrying the item, he will be forced to drop the item in a 3 second animation. The Villain may also drop the item manually at any time.
Special Item: Alien Spacecraft
The ship that brought Brandon to wreak his reign of terror carries with it a special metal that can damage him. 4 Metallic Shards appear on the Spacecraft per trial and survivors can pluck 1 each to damage the Villain. Slowing his recovery rate of Wrath by 50% for 30 seconds. Survivors may trigger this effect by performing the Backstab interaction, directly behind the Villain, after which he will throw a 3 second tantrum. During this tantrum, his movement is slowed 80% and has 75% slower turning speed. He will emit 3 shots of Heat Vision during this tantrum where he is facing, injuring a survivor one health state if he manages to shoot them.
Add-ons:
Common
- Laptop: A handheld computer detailing how the American way has fallen. Decrease the cost of Meteoric Crash by 0.3 points per second.
- Backpack: Brandon’s Backpack used for school. Decrease the energy cost for Heat Vision by 3 points.
- Bent Lawn Mower Blade: One of the first signs he was special. Increase the distance survivors fly backwards from Meteoric Crash by 2 meters but decrease the range of its impact by 1 meter as well.
- Cellar Basement Lock: An item that once protected him from the truth. Decrease the time for tantrum by 0.5 seconds.
Uncommon
- Erica’s Eye: An eyeball with a glass shard still poking out of its pupil. Whilst in the air before triggering Heat Vision or Meteoric Crash, all survivors within 16 meters gain Killer Instinct for 4 seconds.
- Brandon’s Coloring Pencils: Omens for an upcoming apocalypse. Reveal the auras of survivors narrowly missed by Meteoric Crash’s flight path for 4 seconds.
- Dead Flowers: A peace offering for the one human who knew he was special. After using Meteoric Crash, Grain 5% Haste for 5 seconds.
- Old Baby Photos: Discarded pieces of a forgotten life. Survivors who come within 16 meters of the Alien Space Craft become Oblivious for 20 seconds.
- Birthday Cake: A child’s celebration into a man. Downing a survivor by any means gains back 10 points of Wrath.
Rare
- Bloodied Shirt: Evidence for a murder he warned he’d commit. Survivors who come in contact with a Metallic Shard are highlighted with killer instinct for 4 seconds.
- Fractured Car Parts: Pieces from the scene of a crime. If above 10 meters from the ground whilst carrying a pellet or the Spacecraft, should the Villain drop it by any means onto a survivor, they will immediately be put into the dying state.
- Shariff’s Hat: Remains of a man who knew too much. Increase the flight speed of Meteoric Crash by 3 meters.
- Soft Mittens: The last gift his “Mother” ever gave him. Gain 3% Haste whilst carrying a survivor.
- Blue Candy: Hard candy, easy to chew. Recover from your tantrum 0.5 seconds faster and fire one more blast of Heat Vision before it finishes.
Very Rare
- Dark Journal: You’d make for a talented artist if you were human. Survivors who come in contact with an immolated location, become immolated themselves for 5 seconds. Interacting with a pallet whilst Immolated will cause the pallet to catch fire and destroy itself within 3 seconds.
- Brightburn Eagles PE Shirt: You can’t trust liars. Reduce your movement speed for carrying a survivor by 5%. However, gain Omni-directional flight whilst doing so.
- Chewed Fork: Eggs are delicious. Exchange your beams of Heat Vision whilst tantruming for one slightly wider, continuous beam. Increase the duration of your tantrums by 1 second.
- Alien Writings: “Take the World”. Whilst in the air, your recovery of Wrath is resumed once hitting maximum height. Increase your maximum energy reservoir by 10 points.
Visceral
- Dad’s Hunting Rifle: Become obsessed with one survivor. Your obsession’s attempts at Backstabbing you are 10% less effective than anyone else’s. Additionally, whenever the latest survivor takes a Metallic Shard from the Alien Spacecraft, they will become the obsession.
- Mom’s Paint Brush: Remove the benefit of using Pallets for your Bludgeoner ability and gain them for carried survivors instead. Using a survivor as a weapon this way, immediately frees them from your grasp.
Perks
Aggression
Your speed overwhelms those physically inferior to you. Upon hooking a survivor, Aggression triggers for 15 seconds. Whilst, Aggression is active, Press the Active Ability Button 3 to rush towards a thrown pallet or breakable wall within 14/18/22 meters to immediately begin the break animation. Must have a clear line of sight of this pallet/wall or its aura in order to trigger this perk.
Invocation: Starspawn
Replace the hooks within the basement with an effigy to the entity. Invoke the effigy by communicating with it in a 40 second interaction.
Once the invocation is completed, a large alien device will appear somewhere within the trial and emit an omni-directional sound once it does. All generators within 30 meters of the device become blocked by the entity and flashlights flicker a red eerie light that takes 10% longer to blind you.
Invocation: Starspawn has a 100/110/120 second duration and Effigies can only be invoked once per trial.
Short Fuse
Your alien presence has a way of affecting technology. Start the trial with 5 tokens. Once triggering the break action on a generator, consume a token. When a generator is regressing this way, any survivors lose their flashlight charges at a rate of 3% per second if within 10/11/12 meters of the generator. This effect is removed once the generator stops regressing.
