Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Why Do PC Players...

Get a toggle option? Like I know why but they have the ability to Spin and 180 Lunge without trying.

I play console and don't want to throw up every time I tilt the right toggle for an advantage no one should have. I have default/low camera sensitivity and toggle off for the same reason. Commitment to the horror aspects. I don't prefer getting caught and losing the subsequent chase, but that's the point.

It's unrealistic to be in first person and be able to snap my pelvis to hit around a piece of the environment. Killers can already hit over windows and through pallets.

It's unrealistic to be in third person and turn my character to face wherever I want them to without them spraining something.

I get it's a game but it's become too much of a game more than any aspect of horror surviving to this point. By giving Survivors a toggle on gens and totems and chests and gates you provide an agency that wouldn't normally exist. By giving Killers a toggle on damaging gens you remove any headstart a Survivor would get(provided Hex:Ruin or DMS isn't in play).

If it's a comfort issue you're holding the button too hard. I do it too but it's also supposed to be uncomfortable. The tension in that finger is the same as the tension of the situation.

Barring Perks increasing and decreasing the difficulty mechanically, this is a privilege. Something mainstream. Perks are a right as you can still "misuse" them and they adhere to a meta.
