Xeno speed boost after tail attack

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE:
After hitting a survivor with a tail attack, I got a speed boost which allowed me to catch up quickly. The Yun-Jin had used lithe just a few seconds beforehand, so I don't know if that factored into it.

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED:
Chasing Yun-Jin, she activates lithe, I hit her with a tail attack and get the speed boost.
