Houndmaster getting infinite killer instinct upon dog search

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE:

i've been experiencing this consistently with houndmaster (once or twice every two games), but it's not easily reproducible in a vacuum. the killer instinct you get when the dog searches sometimes lasts indefinitely, regardless of hook state, until the player is downed (loses a health state, maybe?) or i do another search on that player with the killer instinct already (in which case it reapplies, continues for a short time as normal, then stops). it has the visual killer instinct but not the sfx. the red houndsense filter is still active on the survivor too, even after it expires on the hud.

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED:

i think it has something to do with the dog barely detecting a survivor in its search radius while moving to the search destination or back to the houndmaster. i assume the dog's search radius acts as a single trigger activation that shows killer instinct for a short set time that is checked and reset if the survivor is detected again on the next frame/game tick. if true, maybe the dog search code while moving is only triggering once, on one frame/tick, and something there is causing the bug because it isn't reapplying, so it doesn't know when to stop giving the player killer instinct.

(first game i had on houndmaster since the update, wasn't recording. you can see my power is not on cooldown and my dog is back, so the killer instinct should be gone by now)

(second game, was recording. keep in mind that the houndsense filter is active on the survivor, but the hud says its not, when the kate appears near 0:45… but when i send the dog after the cheryl and it successfully, non-buggily detects her, kate's houndsense appears timer starts again/appears on the hud, even though she already visually had the filter. )
