Nurse chain blink not working ( flickering )

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE:
Soemtimes when using the nurses chain blink the indicator starts to flicker, the input for charging gets blocked and therefore breaks the nurses whole ability. This happens quite often during casual gameplay.
I speculate that it has something to do with standing close to objects or that traces are generally broken.
