The Potential of comic book characters in DBD
I feel like there so many options for comic book characters to become either killers or survivors. Characters like Carnage, Scarecrow, Muse, or Bane (my goat) I feel like they can definitely make their way into the game as Killers. and on the survivor end of things you got people like commissioner Gordon, Gwen Stacy, or John Constantine (my other goat) are also good options for survivors. Like there are so many options that you could do in the pool of characters to choose from is basically endless and I’m genuinely curious if this will ever happen.

I agree, comic characters belong in DBD.
And BHVR, get us a Rorschach skin for Legion.

If BHVR could negotiate specifically using the Vertigo version of Constantine and not the DC one, that'd be one of my dream licenses.
I would love to see some DC characters too, though. A long time ago I pitched Harper Row as Gotham's survivor rep, with the logic that she's a little less powered and hyper-competent than a lot of the other caped individuals in that town and also, crucially, because I love her.
For matching killer, I'd pick Scarecrow. Lots to do there for a power, suitably horrifying for DBD, still recognisable enough for people not to react with "who?" when they see it.Good opportunities for skins, too. Joker skin for Trickster, Punchline skin for Legion, various cosplay skins for the survivors, so on.

I just saw DC x Sonic The Hedgehog crossovers at the store, so I'm sure DC isn't a hard one to pull. Although aesthetically, I think they're better off going specifically with Vertigo or something different altogether like Dark Horse.

honestly I was originally going to say that joker would belong in this game, but in all honesty, I don’t think you could add joker without adding Batman and that’s kind of where I drew the line

For me when it comes to comic characters in DBD only one comes to mind.
We need Jackie Estacado in this game, BHVR i beg of you to bring him into the fog.

if we do get The Darkness in the game Mike Patton (the singer of Faith No More) needs to reprise his role of the Darkness as his voice acting for it is incredible

mainly referring to Western comics but if I’m being honest, I would love to see Dio from JJBA in DBD
