Black Ward does not protect addons from being lost after trial

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: Using a Black Ward offering no longer protects it from being lost. I do not know if this is just for Xenomorph, if you have only one of the addons left, etc.
PLATFORM: Steam
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED: Use a black ward offering, after you go back to the lobby, the addon will still be reduced by 1.
Here are screenshots showing before the match, in the end game screen showing that they are equipped with the black ward, and the lobby afterwards showing the loss of those addons.
