This is what is activelly killing this game for me BHVR
As someone who's been here since the beta with over 10k hours in this game . The cheating issue is trully getting out of hand . These Epic players using their hacked Developer badge with all the cheats and scrips you can think of are just out and about daily . I get feedback that actions are taken on my reports every single day i log in and yet every single day i have multiple games against these epic store script subscribers . Get a bigger security team and do more regarding Anti cheat . This is literally making me want to delete this game after playing for 9+ years. For anyone wondering this is the badge they use which is meant for devs only .

The cheating problem "getting out of hand" would require it ever having been in hand, which it hasn't.

One of the decisions they'll never live down was that free Epic promotion years back. So many thousands of burner and/or for-sale accounts not accounted for, pun intended.

Have you ever considered that you might just be playing against actual devs who are insanely good at their own game? Just kidding…
I’ve been around since 2017, but these days I barely play DBD anymore. Cheaters have always been one of the biggest issues for me. Especially back in the old days when I played a lot, it was a constant problem. In the end, it made me play DBD less and less over time. Kind of a shame, really.

That's kind of how it works?
A bunch of exploits get patched all at once, and then people find ways around them and start cheating more openly, repeat ad infinitum. We're at the "everyone has all the exploits" stage in the cycle.

Where/what time do you all typically play? I play maybe a few times a week, a few hours at a time usually from 8-11PM. US eastern time zone. I haven’t seen an obvious cheater in a very long time, so I am always surprised to see these types of posts. Maybe the problem is much worse in other regions and/or at different times of the day.
