Power vaults, pallets. And chase(movement) killers a tin foil hat theory

So i took a small break. Wanted to keep clear and chill my mind y'know? But certain videos popped up on my feed. And now I have a tin foil hat(help me please)

So i have noticed something, a lot of players are tired of power vaults(Wesker. LEGION. Ghoul, Krasue.) Both on killer side and survivor aide. Its like dash killers.(which ironically a fewbof these can be considered "dash") but with the increased addition of these killer powers with vaults I've noticed "now its easier to kill or get a hit with this killer"

I mean Wesker might be the golden standard with power vaults. And legion is.. left wanting for more.

But a lot of these power vaults killers are also movement based killers. Which tend to make playing pallets easier in most cases.. but survivors can still use pallets with moat movement based killers.

So they added more pallets because deadzones.

But because they added more pallets now movement based killers are gonna be used. Which will feed into a flow of more pallets more movement based killers

Which is to say my tin foil hat wearing self came up with

"Oh heck are we in a downward spiral of movement/chase based killer and pallet increases now?"

Tldr: Im theorizing that due to the increased pallets density which doesn't affect movement/chase killers, more movement/chase killers will be prevalent, which will then increase the likelihood of more pallets and decrease the likelihood of set-up killers even more

What are your thoughts?

I actually think Wesker's vault is kinda crap. The pause is too long. It doesn't help you catch up on a tile. I run Lab Photo just to avoid the pallet leaps and get rid of the pallets. You can also bait him into accidentally vaulting, which is the funniest thing ever. I don't mind Legion's because his hit in this form is so weak and he's also kinda easy to knock out of power.

Krasue and Ghoul, being more recent, are a different matter and are way stronger overall. And I think they do play into this theory. It's logical the game would change around its newer killers. Even what they did to Clown's yellow bottles and in the Micheal rework reflected the plan to have more pallets. I do think we'll continue to see more chase-overpowering killers.

I agree about what you are saying honestly, I've been saying this about the s-tiers for ages.

I want the more interesting killers to have more spotlight. I hate the high mobility ones, it makes for such boring matches that barely use the map they are on.

I love playing against any of the other killers who aren't hyper mobile.

The reason I state Wesker is the golden standard because its "counter play" make it feel better on both the receiving end and giving out. Imho the counter play feels way more "Ah crap I screwed up" rather then "Oh come on!" In most cases.

But Yeah i hope im wrong

Ghoul's vault is so fast that it makes Wesker's look like a joke.
