I can see the point. Pig has RBT too. But problem with her dash is big. 1) She needs to crouch which takes almost second, 2) she loses los which gives her no feedback on what's going on, 3) she completely stops moving when charging. So yeah, while her Ambush is available 24/7 it's effectivness is nowhere near Myers + Myers hase base bonuses (lunge, vault speed, smaller TR). And Pig against semi-decent team? If she gets one kill I'll call the player a master of her as she truly struggles to get downs. She's like Clown her kit has to be equally good to not be oppressive yet not too weak. That's why I said that they should buff either attach trap time and search time or ambush, not both.

Are we forgetting she has built in slowdown which is obnoxious with the right build too? I don't think she needs anymore buffs, I think she is in a decent place now. Unlike Michael she has her power at all times ontop of the bear traps.

cant use her slowdown if she cant get downs, her ambush is still bad

Ambush does last for nearly a second longer, and she has the hats as some of the best passive slowdown around.

IMO, her dash is OK as it is; it's strong in the right scenarios, yet weak enough to still give meaningful counterplay/mind games (something sorely lacking in a lot of dash based killers where they can brute force hits)

Learning when you can and can't use it is a big part of playing Pig, and a major skill component to her is learning to use all elements of her kit together, not hyper focus on one aspect.

If Pig were to receive any further buffs... I'd prefer something other than her dash…. Like ruleset number 2 basekit.

I just think she needs to see her box aura again. That’s what made her a macro killer and that’s been destroyed.

the hats are trash and you never get head pops they need buffs she needs 6 by default. They’ll never be good if you can remove them on the first search. I hate how the hats were used in game.

The problem with Pig dash is different though. It got buffed twice but resulted in about 1m more ground covered. The biggest problem is the slow setup to perform it. She has to crouch -0.8s, charge -0.8s, loses los and completely stops moving while charging. So in the end she loses both los and strategic distance to her setup for counterplay of leaving loop that she can't counter because she can't see where survivors are and if they abandoned the loop (unless you run Amanda's letter, which is currently only truly viable add on to boost Ambush strenght).

Also survivors can predrop the pallet to make Ambush unsusable, which will be case if they buff her Ambush to the point where it'd be reliable antiloop.

Due to how the box logic works now, if you get a game with a hat that can be removed in 1 Search, then the other 3 hats are guaranteed to be 4/4/3 Searches respectively, which is incredibly good.

You can absolutely get headpops or free hook stages if you pressure Active Traps correctly. You can't expect to have them headpop for free, you have to go around looking at where the boxes might be if you know there's Active Traps in the area.

No one uses dash now, it needs major love

Yes, Pigs individual components are weak. No one aspect of her kit is strong, you have to use all parts of her kit together to get success. Pig is a little like Oni, where they struggle mightily if they don't get an injury/down early, but once the first trap is out, that's when the game really begins.

Pig's entire uniqueness is the fact she has an additional threat to play around for Survivors, and you have to lean on that threat, or at least bait that threat to create effective pressure. Your game plan is ever changing based on the situation and information you gather in the trial, and a good Pig will be constantly on the look out for particular macro elements to squeeze on.

This additional dimension of Pig must be mitigated by a weaker chase compared to other killers. If she has strong anti loop, you cannot justify the existence of RBTs, there has to he a trade off.

The pre drop and run problem is an issue for Pig, but it is something that can be mitigated using perks like Blood Favour, Bam or Brutal Strength+Knockout, Pig has multiple perks she can afford to take instead of gen slowdown to help her chase, because she has gen slowdown inherently. And vs. any survivor trying to greed, they can be mind gamed with her Ambush, or a quick/crouch stand, there are a loot of little tricka you can employ to mind game in a variety of ways with Pig.

I am thinking about Pig in a world without the pallet density update admittedly, as this undeniably hurts her a lot, but the overarching point is, this is new Myers:

I love QuietKills, but this is not Myers, this is brain off dash slop, brute forcing hits at every tile. You'll notice he's using similar perks to what I suggest on Pig, but the difference here is Pig would still have to play mind games for hits, she can't force hits in many scenarios, she has to understand her power well to know when to use it and when to fake it and go for M1s instead.

Due to the nature of her RBTs this is how it has to be, because if she can just force hits on repeat, like Dash Slop can, then her natural slowdown breaks the game.

And I for one hold the opinion the Dash Slop crowd already have enough to pick from. They don't need to dumb down every killer in the game to fit their archetype.

all i want is for bhvr to buff her traps (aka her actual fun part imo since ambush is simpyl countered by running away from the loop). Some ideas:
make the RBT start of unhook instead of on gen completion (this actually makes them a "threat"
make the failed skillcheck addons basekit so missing one actually means something
maybe give her some more trap "variants" to spice things up like a shotgun collar or venus trap

its also high time for her to get voice lines by Shawnee Smith (who has already shown interest in voicing the chacater)
also chase theme and maybe ven hello zepp for the RBT countdown (to add some spice to the RBTs outside of lethality)

now for this to not be a straight up nerf something has to be done about the boxes and pig being able to crouch behind rbt survivors.

maybe instead of boxes survivors could get an alternative objective be it sabotaging a generator or breaking a pallet in wich a key might hide (for example survivors could interact with gens to break them down (only if they have progress) to wich through wich they can get the key for their respective trap. As for the pallets they would have to throw them down then stomp on them for 3-5 seconds and a key might fall out of them.

as for pig following these survivors to harras them maybe the rbt/trap countdown could pause or heavily slowdown if she comes to close or something (this is a tricky thing to change bc if you punish her for it the survivors could just rat near piggy herself)

100% agree. Her dash is in the perfect spot right now to be strong but still have skill and counterplay for both sides.

Any buffs she gets should go into either stealth or her traps. Dash is good now.
