Executioner cage bug

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE:When you cage someone there is no sound and visual notification when other survivors save their teammate from the cage. Is this was intended mechanic or a bug?

    this was "fixed" in the last patch notes. apparently this was never intended to notify the killer and they "fixed" it this latest patch
