South African players have been stuck with 160-230ms ping for years. its nit just frustrating its unfair. We're not asking for special treatment, just a fair shot at playing on EQUAL footing.

The infrastructure is here, AWS has a Cape town region. Google cloud has johanesburg. Other games with smaller player bases have already made the move, so why not dbd? (counter strike 2, valorant, call of duty mobile, cod warzone and cod mobile etc, all have south african servers.)

we're not a ghost region. There's a solid player base here. we buy skins, we play daily, and we LOVE the game. but, we're constantly getting kicked for 'unstable connection' or people being rude to us for such high ping, and getting bluetooth hits as survivor, something we have absolutely no control over, when the real issue is that we're being routed 13,000 km to FRANKFURT.

high ping hurts EVEREYONE, its not just us, Killers get unfair hits, survivors rubber band, and matchmaking gets weird, its a lose lose for the WHOLE lobby.

BHVR has scaled before, You added servers for the FNAF boom. Why not test a single node in SA and see what happens?

we're not invisible. we're just asking to be seen and to play without 200ms handicaps. PLS PLS, BHVR hear us!
