Pallet Density needs to be reverted already.

Trying to play this game as an M1 killer is torture now. It's genuinely unwinnable on many maps because there's just 1000 pallets everywhere. It's so frustrating to see the devs prioritize making the A-S tier killers the only ones you can play if you actually want to have fun and not just break pallets all game while gens are done in 4 minutes.

Problem with m1 killers arent the pallets but their weak design compared to newer killers. They keep reworking older killers to be more in line with newer ones, but the fact that each new killer has great antiloop, amazing map traversal and build in info will never let killers like Bubba, Pig, Ghostface or Trapper to be on same competitive level unless they are completely redesign. And to be honest, if every killer has antiloop, traversal and build in info they will powercreep each other with every update adjusting them. Truly the one who suffers is Ghostface, the Clown can slow, Pig can ambush, Onryo can utilize invisibility, at least something but Ghostface just has nothing, same with Legion and few more killers.

Use dissolution. There are perks to counter pallets you know.

There will be changes to the update that brought us the Pallet Density changes, but they will not be in this PTB but should be in the next release, there was unfortunately not enough time to get them into the PTB after we did the Pallet Density Feedback, which massive thanks to everyone who gave feedback on that, allowed us to fully see where the areas of improvements could be made.

I dont usually write here anymore, just passing by since I wanted to answer someone else. But I hope if you make changes to the Pallet Density that you also consider reverting other changes you did to maps. Mainly:

    • Removal of Windows, e.g. the Windows on Father Campbells Chapel which are now doorways
    • Removal of Breakable Walls, e.g. on Gas Heaven and Groaning Storehouse
    • Overall lower quality of Tiles - Maps might have more Pallets, but the structures also changed, e.g. if you had a Jungle Gym before, now you have a much weaker tile in the same place

If Pallets get removed, those things should also be reconsidered.

It's Behavior. They will overreact and make ridiculous changes. Every map will be turned into Haddonfield before the pallet density update instead of just toning things down a bit. We'll be loading into small maps with eight terrible pallets and a million dead zones.
