Camping is still a problem
Like everyone i've experienced facecamp , hard camp and tunneling as a survivor. I tought it was a matter of rank but i got to rank 1 and it's pretty much the only reason i lose it time by time (that and leavers). Maaking the killers loose points for camping is a step in the right direction but shouldn't the survivor who get camped gain points then ? I mean it kinda sucks that you loose a pip bcz an idiot decided you were going to have a bad game. It's pretty simple really : give points to survivors who get camped or tunneled and the problem is gone. I know there is no chance anyone will see this (let alone a dev lol) but loosing my progression bcz of camping is very frustrating (and kinda unecessary : killers don't need to camp to win their game).

If the killer camps, do gens. Easy 3 escape.
Don't bother when you lose 1 pip from time to time due to getting camped. You'll instantly rank up again, pips are gained super easy.

I know dude. I am 75% surv main and 25% killer main. I never camp i always get 4 or 3 men

Indeed, survivors rewarding campers is still a problem. I wish the devs would do something to punish survivors who reward camping.

And throwing yourself at the hook and dying solves.. what exactly?

I think they are pointing out that a lot of survivors suicide on the hook when they're being camped. Which just screws over the other survivors. The best thing you can do is hang there without attempting to escape and struggle allowing the other survs time to do gens. The only problem with that sometimes is some survivors seem to believe they are immortal and will unhook you even without Borrowed Time at which point you will be tunnelled and hooked again. If you're team is lucky you will be a decent looper and waste enough of the killers time, if they aren't lucky you'll be caught again pretty instantly and camped through 2nd phase and they won't even have a gen done.

I don't understand why survivors think they can dictate how a killer is played. You are not in control. You have no say in what the killer wants to do. If you want a say, then play killer yourself.
You as a survivor cannot tell a killer how to play his role. The killers plays as he sees fit. He is not there to be friendly, he is not there to be respectful. He is not there to be fair. The reason they are called killers, is because they are there to kill.
As killer, he can camp and tunnel as he sees fit. If you don't like the way the killer is playing his role, no-one is stopping you from leaving. Don't blame the killer for securing his kill, blame yourself for getting caught.
A killer is not going to tell you how you should play your role, so don't tell them how to play theirs.

If a killer needs to secure that kill, leave em alone.

That'd stop a lot of the diving in including with BT especially against Bubba's and if they included tool tips during load screen saying as much etc.

Honestly, I feel this is something that needs a nuke to fix. In another thread I suggested double damage in a small radius around the hook (two meters, IIRC), and the unhooker drops to the dying state and is granted a permanent Broken status effect if an unsafe unhook is performed. Unsafe unhooks would also be redefined to just any time a killer hits a survivor less than 10 seconds after they were unhooked, even if they don't go down.
That way, the hook would become a dangerous location, and hook rushes would be heavily punished. Maybe then survivors would stop feeding campers.1 -

The big majority of killers would stop camping when the survivors would not reward their behaviour.
