Why can't I get crossplay to work since new update

WWhen I'm in main lobby cross play is on but as soon as I go into a lobby as survivor to have a friend join or me join them cross play turns off. Go back to lobby I get a message check if I have an update. How do I get this fixed i spent so much money on this game.

    Were you trying to crossplay with someone from Xbox? As until 11am today, Xbox were on a different version of the game, so crossplay with them was impossible, now that issue has been resolved, so you should be able to crossplay with your friends as normal.
