Can you make another basic attack standing still right after if missed?
For example, survivors can abuse your basic attacks near pallets or windows to seem like they are dancing under your nose without any harm. Like killer is harmless and puty character, any person who plays they is pathetic. It is more likely to happen with intentionally toxic survivors, but sometimes this behaviour is just rational for experienced players. Looping killers is so fatisfying for them or they just help their team to let them genrush. If every surv I have to chase is going to loop it, and know precisely how to spend my time the boring way possible I'm just gonna disconnect. The same problem if I can loop kinda baby killer, but they probably enjoy it and I don't. Like I still think about this game as horror one. How can I be scaried if I see killer by my spine, huh? I want play as survivor more but from first person view.

What's the point on voting down without any criticising? I thought this forum for discussing.

Pff, really? You're so falling for "Vote down". More vote downs for gods of vote downs.

Well hello there.
I guess your post is about the bming close to a window. You swing, the Survivor does a step back and before you can swing again they come forth again, teasing you with a hit you most likely won´t get.
So… how could you fix this. The thing is it is never good to try to implement something into the game as basekit what isn´t 100% neccessary. So the best way to outplay this "tactic" would be to keep on the chase or leave it. Sometimes it is better to leave a chase if you notice that the survivor is really confident in his abilty to loop and I know this is easier said than done. A good thing which you ever need to keep in the back of you head is the following. If the Survivor tbags at a pallet he will most likely lose distance to you while you break it.
Don´t take the downvotes on this forum so serious. It is kinda normal that opinions of new members or people which try to improve the Killer perspective in their eyes to get more downvotes here.
Keep your head up.

Yeah, I understand your point, mine was like "why "horror" "survivor" game turns into clownery. Why being survivor you feel like clown and being killer you feel like forced watcher?

i mean it sounds like an issue of seeing the game as a horror game. I suggest playing alien isolation or amnesia bunker instead for a real horror experience

Thats true. DBD is not really a full-fledged horrorgame. But i wonder if any horror games keeps the horror experience if you play it for over 1000 hours. At some point you have seen everything and you understand how the game works.

Yes but i wouldnt recommend this game to anyone looking for a horror experience. Honestly it would feel misleading to describe it as such. It’s more frustrating and competitive than slow and scary. You can play immersive but you will be disappointed
At least with traditional horror games you are given a story to finish. This game is designed to be grinded and replayable

or outlast trials yuh… dbd is a fun chasey game, you chase survivors and try to show off your skills and vice versa. i thought everyone loved the whole idea of looping? heck even as killer i love versing good loopers because its fun. its frustrating if you only care about winning yeah but i'll throw sometimes if someone is cracked, trying to down them all game. because i find it fun but yeah if you want more horror-esque games ^^^ dbd is only ever scary when you're new and unfamiliar with everything.
or you could play more stealth killers if you dont like chasing loopers. granted you might get smack in EGC bc no one likes stealth killers but hey, each to their own.

I mean whether game is "horror" or not, it's survival game, not a clownery one, that is the issue and point of my post and also position through which I see this game. What is your position, huh?

Yes, the goal is to survive, but thats the goal in many games. Doesnt stop people to do dumb stuff in it. For exampe is teabagging in every game not an advantage, but people do it. People do unneccesary trickshots in shooter. And so on. Why?
Bc people play to have fun. (What the fun is, is different for everyone)

This isn't a horror game and you shouldn't be swinging at obvious bait

I know I saw also other "baits", like going through killer cuz there is no collision, making killer think survivor goes in some other direction when it's not so. Can you list all "baits" survivors can use and how they look for third party observer? You do address someone's mistake not the situation letting it to happen. We do not discuss such problem here as I see.

You can actively watch out for and not fall for any of those mindgames lmfao, doing so is the entire point of dbd

Where BHVR states that this is the entire point of dbd?
