Killer

Indoraptor

Killer Name

The Hybrid

Speed

4.4m/s

Terror Radius

32m

Map

Lockwood Manor

Power Name

Bio-weapon

Power Description

A weapon of the future made from pieces of the past.

Perch

Pressing and Holding the Primary Active Ability Button whilst looking at a ledge (balconies or the tops of tiles) will cause The Hybrid to jump to it.

If it is a balcony; The Hybrid clings to the edge of it. If it is the top of a tile, they mount the wall they are looking at and remain there. In these states, The Hybrid’s Terror Radius is halved.

While clinging to a balcony, The Hybrid may move forward to climb on top of it or use Perch again.

While mounted on a tile wall, The Hybrid can travel along the edge. They may also use Perch again to jump between walls. Traversable edges are highlighted in White.

The Hybrid can perform the Perch action three times before having to leave the wall or balcony; it goes on cooldown for 30 seconds per Perch action. The cooldown will only start once The Hybrid is back on solid ground.

Track

While Perched on a wall or balcony, The Hybrid can see a trail of footprints left behind from the survivors. The footprints appear red and the brightness of the footprints is determined by when they were placed, completely disappearing after 15 seconds.

The footprints vanish after 10 seconds of dismounting a Perch.

If a survivor is in The Hybrid’s FOV then the killer may hold down the Secondary Active Ability Button to build up that survivor’s Fear Meter.

Multiple survivors may be affected but this slows the build-up by 35% for each survivor (35% then another 35% etc.. NOT 35%+35% etc.).

Fear Meter

The Fear Meter of a survivor is located around the profile of that survivor. It is easily distinguishable by its appearance of a skeletal jaw with jagged teeth. The jaw is a red colour and it comes closer to closing the higher that survivor’s Fear Meter is, with 100% being represented by a fully closed jaw. This jaw overlaps the currently existing profile. There are 4 stages of Fear.

30% - The survivor occasionally hears faint rumbling and growling noises from any random direction (this is a default noise that The Hybrid makes).

50% - Randomly throughout the trial, that survivor hears an approaching Terror Radius that disappears after reaching halfway.

75% - After creating a Loud Noise Notification, the survivor screams and becomes Exposed for the next 5 seconds.

100% - The current health state of that survivor cannot be seen on their profile, and their hook stage is blocked.

All previous stages apply to the larger ones.

Additionally, if a survivor with a full Fear Meter is in a 16m range of The Hybrid. Pressing the Secondary Active Ability Button will perform a Pounce, which locks on to that survivor. If there are multiple survivors with full Fear Meters, it locks on to the closest one. This reduces the survivor by one health state and inflicts them with Deep Wound

Roar

Holding the Primary Active Ability Button for 2 seconds while not moving will charge up a Roar. Every survivor in a 32m radius has their Fear Meter increased by 50%. This ability goes on cooldown for 30 seconds.

Reassurance

By Reassuring another survivor, the reassured survivor gradually experiences a decrease in their Fear Meter.

Perks

Made to be a weapon, perks Hunting, Scourge Hooks: Setting an Example and Adapted for Slashing give you a perfect playground, ready to play with your new toys.

Hunting

Dash into enemy territory and make it your own.

While there is no survivor in your Terror Radius, you move 20/30/40% faster.

Scourge Hooks: Setting an Example

You strike fear into your victims by setting an example.

At the beginning of the trial, 4 hooks are transformed into Scourge Hooks.

  • The auras of these hooks are highlighted in white.

While there is a survivor on a Scourge hook, these effects apply:

  • That scourge hook gains a radius equal to that of your Terror Radius.
  • Whenever a survivor enters this radius, they scream and reveal their aura for 5/6/7 seconds.

Whenever a survivor is unhooked from a scourge hook, these effects apply:

  • All other survivors outside the radius scream and reveal their location for 2/3/4 seconds.
  • That scourge hook loses its radius.

Adapted for Slashing

You were made to kill.

Whenever a survivor becomes Exposed, they also become 5/10/15% Hindered.

Whenever a survivor becomes Hindered, they also become Exposed.

Whenever you down a survivor, all other survivors become Exposed.

Lore

The Indoraptor, a genetic prototype of the future of war, made to kill one thing: Humans. Little did its creators know, that meant that they were also on the menu. After breaking free and running rampant around Lockwood manor, the Indoraptor came face-to-face with a Velociraptor and its human master. Working together, they were able to lure it into an unstable glass ceiling. The ceiling was about to give way when a dark fog rolled over and took the Indoraptor.

Mori

The Hybrid does a dramatic lunge and falls to the ground. The survivor goes to check if it is dead when it snaps up and bites down on their head, ripping it clean off. It quickly swallows the head then refocuses its attention on its surroundings.

I feel like you should keep the killer name “The Indoraptor”, considering there’s already stuff like that”The Demogorgon” and “The Xenomorph”. Other than that, good concept! I had a pretty similar ability in mind for my concept (luckily it’s different)
