Skull Merchant Temp Buff/Rework
I just wanted to take the time to post here to let the developers know that I am NOT happy with Skull Merchant in the state she is in. A large content creator in a recent video stated that he and other Skull Merchant content creators have convinced BHVR to not go through with the drone reworks because it would "make her a slopdash killer". PLEASE, I would rather she be "slopdash" than continue to be unviable.
She is frustrating to play as and boring to play against, I often have survivors tell me I should not play her because she is so bad.
In the meantime I feel like a couple of small adjustments would make a big difference in her current iteration being viable.
#1 - Revert the change that makes getting undetectable based on collecting a drone instead of deploying it. Doing this is a combination of inputs that is awkward to do while moving and unfeasible to use in an active chase removing the potential to mindgame with undetectable.
#2 - Give drones back the 2nd scan line. Don't speed them up or slow them down, just give back the 2nd line. In 90% of my matches I am lucky to get 1 survivor fully scanned with a claw trap and this makes over half of her add-ons useless as they require a claw trap to trigger. The single line drones are just too easy to avoid in chases and braindead to avoid when out of chase. If not base kit then at LEAST modify an add-on, even an iri add-on to upgrade drones to have 2 scan lines.
Keep the changes simple, don't try and change 15 things at once, save that energy for the rework and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go through with it. Do not let these big content creators attempt to speak for the playerbase while gatekeeping a killer by making her remain unplayable. She needs to be more accessible and your new design is a huge step in the right direction!
