Nintendo Switch Cross Play

Hellooo,

Is there any actual concrete info on when cross play will be re-enabled for Switch users? I have looked all over but from what i can see there is no real answer other than February.

My partner specifically bought the switch version and Nintendo online just for this on the premise of cross play being available and so far its been a waste of money and gathering digital dust :(

    Crossplay will be re-enabled when Switch is on the same build as other platforms, which is scheduled with 9.4.2 build which is due in the next few weeks (date to be confirmed). When all platforms are on that build, then crossplay will be enabled. Until then all platforms other than Switch will be on 9.4.1 (as of today) and Switch will remain on 9.4.0 until 9.4.2 is released for Switch.
